  1. Seems to me that those who've played Thousand Year Door and the earlier style of Paper Mario games, hate Super Paper Mario and Sticker Star. I'm not surprised as from the looks of things they're two completely different types of games. SPM and SS are being judged by previous entries' criteria, rather than their own qualities. I've only played the two more recent Paper Marios, and I ADORE both. I loved Sticker Star, every level had it's own charm and personality and it was so much fun making your way through the various worlds. I'd probably hate Thousand Year Door as much as I hate Mario & Luigi Dream Team, the most boring and stale 1st party Nintendo game I think I've ever played. I don't get how people can dislike Sticker Star, ok the battles aren't amazing (compared to Dream Team at least), but the whole game oozes charm, looks gorgeous and plays superb, IMO.
  2. Wait a day, splash out a whopping £1.50 more and support Nintendo man!! (also on the eShop it currently says £11.99 anyway).
  3. Wii U version isn't out till Thursday I thought.
  4. Forget a character themed jacket design, Ice Climbers 2 for Wii U (or 3DS), make it so Nintendo.
  5. Why not just keep the game, see what the DLC is like then decide. Are you that short of money that you need spare cash right this second? Most people who sell seem to just end up buying it again down the line, though granted that's more with regards to consoles rather than games.
  6. This. I can't see how someone would want to play a demo more than 30 times (in Nintendo's case) without buying the full game. Non issue for me but I can understand people calling the limit pointless.
  7. Not played the demo yet (waiting till I finish Pikmin) but glad to hear you guys are having fun with it. The battles look a bit of a mess but it sounds like the type of game that has grow on you and you have to get used to.
  8. As far as I'm aware, the regular Miiverse drawing is still 2 colour (a good thing IMO), the Sketchpad app is the same as posting screenshots from games. I hope they don't upgrade the Miiverse drawing, the simplicity is what makes it so charming IMO.
  9. Is the long legged thing considered one of the 5 bosses?
  10. I just wish you could have up to 10 favourites, so you could pick your own villagers to always be there.
  11. Skipped the 7 minute trailer, no need to watch that before getting the game. Rest of the game looked amazing, I hope there's plenty of those puzzle segments and not just fighting at every turn.
  12. Probably because the AC formula gets stale after 4-5 games? This is my first AC game and two months in and I'm still loving it. Can't imagine putting it down for a while yet, certainly won't be missing a day.
  13. Just simply exploring in this game is so much fun, turning a corner and wondering what you're going to find or come up against next. The area around the 3rd boss (which I seemed to run into a bit sooner than I should have?) is great for exploring. Such a great game.
  14. Yes not sure what they were thinking with the new one's goofy expression and pose.
  15. Regardless of it coming with the zapper, I just can't believe Link's Crossbow Training sold nearly 5M where Skyward Sword only shifted 3.5. That's incredible.
  16. I was having a look at this Wiki listing ranking Wii games based on number of sales... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_best-selling_Wii_video_games As much as I bemoan more and more NSMB games, facts are the Wii version sold double what Galaxy did and 4x what Galaxy 2 made, which is slightly depressing. No wonder we're not getting Galaxy 3 for Wii U. Also depressing that Just Dance 2 barely made much less than Twilight Princess. Considering the huge difference in budget and effort in creating each, I find that incredible. Link's Crossbow training sold 4.8 MILLION? And Skyward Sword only sold 3.5? That can't be right? Does point to more hardcore 1st party Nintendo titles not being huge sellers, and those are big flagship names like Mario and Zelda. Almost makes it easy to understand their reluctance to make a Starfox or F-Zero game.
  17. Probably just Red from this game being in Smash Bros or something.
  18. It'll be nice and long overdue to hear the classic Zelda overworld theme again. Hope it's a good arrangement and not just an exact copy of the ALTTP one.
  19. I take it that's the final Moon theme, sounds great to me! Woohoo they didn't screw it up
  20. 'she' Plenty of people at IGN love Nintendo.
  21. Summer in the gaming world = 3rd quarter surely, which means July/August/September which coincides with the true, astronomical Northern hemisphere summer anyway
  22. I have a feeling that each dungeon will have items in them as well. The inventory seen during gameplay footage was the same size as ALTTP's, ie. BIG. One item to gain access and get through half the dungeon, another to get to the end and defeat the boss?
