I hated the multiplayer when I played it at Eurogamer, far too chaotic and it just ended up being a sprint to the finish with everyone being left off screen. Single player all the way for me.

I preferred the previous theme, but the new one is good too, though I can imagine it'll just be trailer music and not in-game.

We still know very little about this game, and hardly any new footage shown.

The only thing I don't like is how we seem to be back to having each world as it's own predictable theme (Grass > Desert > Tropical > Snow etc etc). I hope that's not the case as I much preferred the randomness of 3D Land.

You seem to be under the mistaken impression that Nintendo's commercial strategy needs to revolve around you. Aiming games towards the casual market certainly doomed the Wii to failure didn't it. ...oh wait.

So which is it, your original point above that they didn't have enough time to make DKCR by Christmas or your later "I called it" point that they delayed it not to impact other games' sales? That's ignoring your laughable suggestion that the former's development cycle is anything like the latter's.

People expecting Gamecube games on VC, I really wouldn't get your hopes up. I don't think it will ever happen. Here's a wacky thought, maybe it wasn't ready for such a grand trailer and/or they wanted to build the hype closer to release? Are you honestly comparing Wii Karaoke U to DKCR:TF in terms of development times? And anyway didn't you say Nintendo only delayed DK not to cannibalise sales of their other games? In your opinion. Whinge whinge whinge, then eat your words.

Stunning, absolutely stunning. Lots of humble pie to be served for people who were slating this game. The world map looked really great as well, as do the silhouette levels. The visuals on the whole are beautiful and it looks an absolute joy to play.

How soon after the Direct is it available in HD on Youtube? May wait until it's up before watching.

Finally some proper details about A Link Between Worlds? Be nice to have a new 3D World trailer too, only so many times I can watch the E3 one, over and over.

Never thought I would be tempted to get a Vita but that bundle looks really good and I fell in love with Tearaway at Eurogamer. Big fan of the Wipeout games too which is also included. Is Little Big Planet any good? Seems popular but not really sure what kind of game it is. Can you download PSP games onto it from the Playstation Store?

As someone who had no idea what Skylanders was before today, I had a blast playing the PS4 version at Eurogamer today. Don't care about the toys, but the platforming, visuals, art style etc really appeal to me. Surprised to not see a thread for this anywhere seeing as it's out in a couple of weeks. Anyone looking forward to it, or is it a child's game and I should grow up? Again, speaking as someone who has no clue about the franchise.

Mario Kart 8 plays almost exactly like Mario Kart Wii, just with updated graphics, the anti gravity aspect is barely noticeable. Bit disappointed.
