Can I ask, what's the benefit of having your Pokemon be more friendly with you? I've noticed there's an affection rating and I was just wondering what difference it makes. Is Pokemon Amie the only way of altering it?

Wow that Zelda 3DS design is lovely I'm afraid you're completely wrong. IGN may release them quicker, but Gamexplain get straight to the point and uncover FAR more secrets and hidden details than IGN ever have. Mario 3D World was a good example, IGN seemed clueless about a lot of things Gamexplain knew. The latter's video was outstanding.

Thanks very much for explaining, that actually makes complete sense. I guess I was hoping for a more immediate benefit !! and was confusing EV points and stat points. Another really random question, do you guys try and capture every Pokemon you haven't captured before? Or do you just let them faint. I guess it depends on how much info you want in your Pokedex. Also, is there any way for it to tell you what type each one you face in battle is or do you have to constantly look in your Pokedex and try and figure out what it's strong/weak against? (I feel like a bit of an idiot amongst all you experts )

I did those Super Training exercises, well the 6 Lv. 1 ones, but they haven't boosted any stats? It says HP +3 upon completion but my Wartortle didn't change? Anyone know why?

In terms of moves, should I be having my Pokemon forget moves that don't coincide with their specific type? Always best to go for like for like right? Also do you guys always let your Pokemon evolve? I assumed this would be a no brainer but in-game one of the NPCs mentioned something about stopping them from evolving?

Is it a good idea to pick two starters from different types? Just trying to figure out which two I will choose.

Using the right analog stick in single player at Eurogamer seemed to give me a camera control but it was very limited, certainly not as a free as the Wind Waker camera for instance.

Can I ask a typically stupid question as someone who's never played Pokemon game but is keen to try this one? Is there a storyline, with an ending etc? Can you beat the game or is it open ended like Animal Crossing.

How exactly did he confirm it? All he said is play the game and it'll answer the guy's question about whether they're remaking MM. Just as likely is that ALBW has enough elements from MM that it could itself be considered either a sequel or a 'remake'. What could possibly be in the game that would say to us: Nintendo are making Majora's Mask 3D?

What does the advertising and development budgets have to do with anything? Great that Nintendo can make such outstanding games on a more limited budget. And there's nothing presumptuous about believing this is a major Nintendo title, is there really much doubt it'll be an excellent game?

Does every game thread have to slip into a moan about pricing? How cheap can you be, this is a AAA first party Nintendo game, probably the best they'll publish this year. Plus the fact that it looks amazing.
