Great link there, no article found. There is no such thing in production as a double sided, triple layer HD-DVD disk. 17 gig DVD disks are not available to buy, they aren't normally considered amongst normal DVDs

I'll say it again, you can't expect your system to handle that load and run flawlessly, especially on windows.

Wise up, not even a single layered HD-DVD disk can hold 17gb - let alone a DVD.

Being that I have no junk box, I highly doubt it.

Dual Layered disks can hold 9GB, hence why they are refered to as DVD-9 disks.

Stop backtracking, you originally bashed the PS3 for not selling 200,000 in one day (24 hours). How can you bash something for not selling X amounts of units when there wasn't X amounts of units available in he first place.

You do realise what you said made absolutely no sense? How can the PS3 reach 200,000 sells in 12 hours when there wasn't that quantity available to buy in the first place. You can't judge demand because the figures aren't comparable. If I was a Sony fanboy i'd be bashing on about how the PS3 sold out everywhere, yet you can still buy a Wii.

No idea where your getting your info from but the PS3 sold out in Japan, they didn't exactly 100,000, it was more like 90,000. As for the BC, consider the state of the 360's BC, the PS3 is hardly terrible plus they will be patching it soon.
