100%'d World 1 to World 6 now. The stamp in 6-1 was a pain. Just a few more to go then I can get to the final world

I got it mastered now. I was just annoyed because I somehow died on the final bit when I was sans power up. Must have hit the side rather than on top

Some of the levels in Flower World are cruel. CRUEL. Especially as they don't have checkpoints

Indeed. Nintendo really wasn't mentioned much, outside of Wii Sports and a bit of Miyamoto. If we're talking about how video games changed the world...Nintendo is very, very key in that. How could they skip Pokémon, too. Second best selling franchise of all time, back in the 90s it was massive. It got a load of kids into gaming, it was a worldwide phenomenon.

God, getting the stars in some of these stages is doing my head in. Having to precisely aim a fireball while avoiding flying Dry Bones, large piranha plants and firey piranha plants on a rotating platform above poison that kills you on touch. Actually happy to take a break now :p I daren't think of how some of these levels are in multiplayer

Really don't want to go through and have all the levels finished this weekend...but it's luring me back every time I turn it off

I have seen a couple of levels where there are 2 Person platforms near the end. Is it forcing multiplayer to complete or are there hidden cherries around?

Oh dear...it displays the lives used "Retries taken" on the save screen. There goes my ego...my brother increased that score by 40 when playing too -_-

The one thing I dislike about this game (Just come to the end of World 7)

It's the stick positioning. Ergonomically the controller is sound, and as you said, the D-Pad is cool, though the touchpad is a bit too big and wasn't recognising my movements enough. But the sticks...they're too low and they're too far away from the sides. My thumbs were getting strained using them. I did like how the pointless light (for most games) changed colour to show your health on Killzone, though. That's a nice, but ultimately pointless as you can't see it, touch.

Wii U & PS4 for me. Xbox One is just a mess, policy wise and I honestly see their horrific policies returning. Holding off on the PS4 for now because of price of entry and the inadequate launch line-up (for me). This time next year, I'll likely get one, however.

To be fair, the controllers are packaged as Wii U in stores now.

My friend's PS4 just keep crashing. He's having to send it into Sony. Had a go on it last night, seems cool though I hate the controller. It's so uncomfortable. Will definitely get one when it has a stronger game lineup

Meant to be going out tonight, but keep doing the "Oh just one more level" thing. While at first I felt the controls were sluggish and not right, I now love this game
