Isn't Nintendo Wii heading the wrong way?
The Lillster replied to Kevin_NL's topic in Nintendo Gaming
The only thing I can see heading the wrong way is this thread. -
Well I'll see what I can do then. What's the most popular game on xbox360 atm?
-
PGR and ghost recon.
-
Excuse my stupidity, but can you please explain why this is risky for Nintendo?
-
My friend is selling his Xbox360 (premium) for £200 or £250 with 2 games. I'm thinking of buying it off him, I've got a HD TV, so an Xbox360 would be nice, and i'm certainly not paying £400+ for a PS3. So my question is: Should I buy it off him or not?

Opera Wii - temporary free until June 2007 (All regions)
The Lillster replied to Dante's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Maybe not as frequently as a PC browser, but it will be conveinient when someone else is on the computer, or you just can't be arsed to switch the computer on/wait for it to bootup. -
Will I be able to send private messages as well, I wander?...

I'm voting for Johelian Reasons: There are many reasons why I think Johelian deserves the hall of fame, but my favourite one is... I love the way she just ends some massive debate/argument with one swift post.

Opera Wii - temporary free until June 2007 (All regions)
The Lillster replied to Dante's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Yeh! That's what I think too. Basicly people who buy the Wii before June 2007 get a free web-browser and hopefuly to keep/ not have to re-purchase it. -
I'm not really a football fan, but I have been to a few games at Villa Park with my mate who is a big fan of Villa. And I love chanting "TRACEY" "TRACEY ANDREWS". So maybe that 4 will become a 5 in the future. - I know pretty pointless post, but oh well. Life goes on...

I found the article that intresting that I decided to make another topic about it. :p

I've been with C-E/R-E/N-E just before it got a make-over into that purple looking design.

I just downloaded a trailer for this game, and I think it looks fucking awesome! The best bit was when Snake shoots that Metal Gear down, and then the scene where the Metal gear gets back up again just looks so cool!

Maybe a sports channel?

Ok first off i'm not one of those graphics whores who knows everything about how graphics work and all that, so bare with me. I'm pretty sure RES4 (backgrounds/scenery) is pre rendered, i'm pretty certain of this because if you try and interact with the environment i.e shoot something like a wall or something in the scenery, the bullet will just go straight though it! It won't even leave bullet marks or anything. Yes I know the character models, enemies, and anything else you can interact with is IN-GAME graphics, i'm just saying i'm pretty certain the scenery is pre-rendered. But as I said before, i'm not really a graphics person.
-
Of course there gonna say they love it! They probably got payed off! Especially if it's on the main Nintendo Europe website.
-
Yes But Resident Evil 4 graphics are pre-rendered. Plus Capcom was working on the Resident Evil 4 engine for years!
-
Congratulations on a positive post! Seriously, these whole over-priced console BS is getting annoying now.

Thanks for that info DC! Well it doesn't look like i'll be going to Japan anytime soon. Btw, did those Japanese audio lessons help at all?

This is Real - Wii Price & Date - Nov 19th US & $250 USD
The Lillster replied to NintendoDS's topic in Nintendo Gaming
As long as Wii is available in England by the time my birthday arrives (20th December), i'll be happy. -
I have a couple of questions for you DC. If you don't mind answering them, here they are; 1. How much was the flight to and from Japan? 2. How long was the flight? 3. Would it be best to learn Japanese before going over? or can English-speaking-only people manage? 4. How are the Japanese towards white people? I mean do they come across as raciest at all? or are they very friendly towards all racies? 5. Where did you book this holiday from? aka Teletext, website,etc... 6. How long did it take you to save up? 7. If I was going to Japan, what places would you recomend I visit? 8. Whats the food like? 9. Whats the weather like? And my last question is; Will you be visiting the Nintendo headquarters? Sorry for all the questions, but I hope to one day visit Japan, just because the culture over there is so differnt from Britains. Thank you for your time!

Tales of Symphonia Official Thread
The Lillster replied to Stocka's topic in General Gaming Discussion
Yes, TOS is truly an awesome RPG! I only just finished it recently (storyline wise). I was playing it from about 1am to 4am every night! And there was never a dull moment! I'm still playing it now, because I want to do all the side-quests, collect everything, etc... Oh yeh, and I love the Boss music in this game, especially the Angel, The last boss of the game and the summon boss battles! I've also heard Skies of Arcadia is an awesome RPG aswell. I will definently be buying that game. But that won't be anytime soon, because i'm having so much fun with this game. The weird thing is, I brought this game ages ago, and for some reason I didn't like it, but then I gave Tales of Eternia a try on my psp, and once I got used to the battle system I really enjoyed the game. So then I decided to give TOS another go, now that i'm used to the battle system I managed to complete the part where I was stuck and thus get futher into the game, which in turn made me intrested in the game again! So my advise is: If you don't like this game at first, keep playing it, and keep practicing in battles. Eventually the battle system is a piece of cake, and I actually prefer it to the turn-based battles. BTW did I mention how awesome this game is!
