I kind of collect them. I didn't realise I had so many games, honestly. Just seemed a bit of a shame to not get the rest but I'm going for Eevee, Sword or Arceus, depending on what I can get my hands on first.

Ugh, I just looked up the different Pokémon and it seems there's only about 15 or something? The people who invented these games were on some mad money! lmao. I am still contemplating in getting it. Reason being is because unintentionally, I got the other games (minus the DS and Switch ones). I had Sun and Moon but it didn't interest me so I haven't touched them. X, I enjoyed playing but haven't touched Y. I'd like the Switch games. It's weird but I have them but always only ever played one. Reason being is because I got the collection for a stupid price at a car boot when I was a kid. Okay. That's good to know but I think it would've been an interesting aspect to have done that. Like tying the two together and having a separate timeline. Do you think it's worth getting Scarlet to say you have it or wait for it to be cheaper? I ask this because Pikachu and Eevee is nearly the same price as Violet and Scarlet yet I can get Sword and Shield or Diamond and Pearl cheaper...

So it's literally the same experience? Like same trainers, story, etc? Why is everyone going on about one being in the past and the other being in the future? I thought they were different timelines! lmao. I thought it sounded interesting.

Before I start with this, as far as Pokemon is concerned, I've had the exact opposite happen. I think I properly stopped playing when Gold and Silver came out as I didn't actually like the new Pokemon and I lost interest after that entry. I still have the games and I've played the others but nothing grabbed me like the Game Boy games. I bought Pokemon Violet a couple of days ago and I have to say I'm hooked. So much so that I want to go back to the other Switch games and play them as well (I did try Sword and I just didn't like the Pokemon but after giving Violet a chance and thoroughly enjoying it, I decided I'd do the same with that too). Same goes for Let's Go Eevee too. I don't know exactly what it is that's made me fall back in love with it but it's everything I've ever wanted in a Pokemon game. If they remade Red/Blue like this, I'd be so happy. As for the topic itself, I find it to be a problem when the love for the franchise goes out of the window and turns into a cash-grab. Resident Evil has been a very rocky road but I have to admit that Biohazard and Village raised the bar for mainstream survival horror and is possibly the only exception I can make with this. Same goes for movie franchises too. People right now are excited for Indiana Jones 5 and it's like they've forgot what happened with 4. People were so excited for Texas Chainsaw Massacre that they forgot the majority of those films were pretty trash. Halloween Ends was something I boarded the hype train, admittedly, and it is genuinely the worst finale to such an iconic series. I don't necessarily mind a legacy sequel if it's done right (Scream 5 is a prime example for me) but everything is made for 80s and 90s kids to get nostalgic over regardless of quality. Star Wars is the same thing and even Marvel too. I loved both of them so much but it become so oversaturated with unnecessary sequels and mediocre spin-offs (with an exception to The Mandalorian) without a breather of excitement for another installment that I couldn't be arsed with it. Same goes for Call of Duty, Battlefield, Assassin's Creed and other games like it.

I was also thinking of getting Let's Go Eevee...I don't know, lmao.

Aaaaand neither will you. If anyone will be the last person, it'll be me. After playing Violet, I'm back on the games and this will be something for me to get! The question is, do I get this or do I get Scarlet? I'm aiming to get the rest of the Pokemon games as I have a lot of them and I really want to go through them again. I've fell in love with Violet. No idea what to do, is Arceus better than Violet?

Wait, really? I'd have thought it was the opposite because the only copies I can ever find is Violet. I'm after Scarlet as well now. I'm properly hooked on the game. Just wondering though, if I got Scarlet pre-owned, would I still be able to get the Pikachu with Fly? I can't get it brand-new so I'm thinking it could be my only option...

Here's a question: if I had a Pokémon and I evolved it, does it count that I still have that Pokémon? For example, if I have Pikachu and evolved it to Raichu, would I need another Pikachu or would the Pokédex count it as having both? Sent from my Nokia G10 using Tapatalk

I'm not exactly new to Pokémon but I am when it comes to the newer games. I really want to give this a go but not sure on where to start: Violet or Scarlet. My last game that I properly played was X and Y. I tried Sword but didn't feel it much. I've heard good things about this minus the bugs. What would you guys recommend? That's ridiculous! Is there no way you can put in a noise complaint? I've got the flu for the first time ever and it was horrific. It started on Christmas Night as well so I guess Santa left me germs for Christmas, haha. Getting better now though so that's something! I did pretty well, to be honest. I got the complete Peaky Blinders, Mortal Kombat: Snow Blind and the live-action movie from 2021 on Bluray, a Cobra Kai t-shirt, a Cobra Kai hoodie, 51 Worldwide Classics for the Switch, cash, Jack Daniels and Alan Wake Remastered, Gotham Knights and Cobra Kai 2: Dojos Rising on PS5. I watched it this morning and I really enjoyed it. It's definitely the best MCU movie/show of the year. I felt a little underwhelmed at first but I loved it overall. I'm going to watch it again sometime this week!

This wasn't the strongest year. Ukraine wasn't a winning song for me. Germany, Spain and UK were memorable as were Norway (it was odd but kind of catchy), Poland and Finland (The Rasmus!!). I can't remember the country but there was another song that was pretty cool. They were one of the last countries to have been judged by the votes. She had short hair, started on the floor and kicked into a sort of soft rock song.

I mean, we all predicted this...right? For me, the UK had the best song and I am so proud of Sam Ryder! The song is phenomenal and his voice is amazing and second place is the best the country has done in years! He should be proud. The biggest shock was Germany being last. They should've swapped places with Serbia (or the handwashing song). It weren't my cup of tea.

I said the same thing! I didn't know either! Pleasant surprise! I really loved the song as well. It was great but I just loved Space Man more. I'm not being biased at all. I've followed Sam Ryder for a long time and love his voice. Genuinely, I loved that song so much. For me, it's the best of the night. I know it probably won't win but it should, at least, be top 5 or even top 10. If its last or bottom 5, that would be ridiculous! Oh and Germany were wicked too. Really liked their song.

After 3 years, I have finally passed my Level 3 Personal Training course! That's it! No more studying, no more tests...nothing! So, so happy!

I finished watching all of Dexter: New Blood in one sitting. I literally watched all ten episodes back-to-back because I was gripped. It more than made up for that horrible ending of Dexter.
