It's not a revolution, and neither is it lazy to have games on the HDD. If you had to carry around removable media in order to use apps on the iPhone, it wouldn't have taken off. The PSP Go is the first sony console to embrace this fact. I don't know of anybody that says that's a reason to choose PS3 over Xbox either, partly because you can do that on Xbox.
-
I'm sorry but that is bullshit. Sony and it's 2nd/3rd party developers have actually developed a lot of unique games, and this can help those companies. Why should the PS3 not have them?
-
I think you know they didn't and you're trying to undermine the conference. You say the conference was bad but it was well presented and for me (Okay maybe not so much for you) the games were good.
-
You won't be seeing anyone on there. You're just being smug cause you got a code!
-
Damn Choze why did you post that trailer. I can't help but watch it, yet it kind of spoils the game. Looks bloody awesome though.

Hmmm it appears in that last photo that Sully will be in single player. That's good cause I liked the guy.

They should do a gold trophy for beating the Stigs laptime in the reasonably priced car! -
Oh yeah nice Store appearance. I feel tired at thinking about the possibilities Sony have put on the table with that controller. It's better than both the Wii and Xbox. Nobody was expecting it...

Yeah you could be right. I don't want to sound like a Sony rep but that conference was just incredible. They got a good guy to present it as well. -
This will be game of the year 2009 I think.
-
That was at the start of conference and it seemed like Sony delivered.
-
Ok we still don't know what it looks like but I think after the demoing I think it is clear that it will be brilliant for games - the ease of use and pinpoint precision is simply astounding. Launching next year in Spring IIRC, don't know how this will work in conjunction with standard Dual Shock/Sixaxis, but I'm not sure it's necessarily a replacement. If they give it an analogue or nunchuk like thing though it will be amazing for games.

Wii Vitality Sensor... Are you having a laugh!

Well the general Zeldas and Marios game-y. It's not the next big thing no, but it is another rip-off for the consumer. -
The only problem with this is the samey track design I think - because you can't place trees specifically.... Well I'll shut up until more info is revealed.

I liked the idea of the Alan Wake game being a mystery sort of game, and I was excited about just seeing the man running with a torch and searching a dark village. Then suddenly he pulled a rifle from his arse and started shooting. That was the disappointment, but it looks good in a different way now. -

Look I'm sorry Jim but no. This is dumb, there could be so many better periphals than this. Lazyboy was right, it won't be used for anything game-y. -

I just expect some good game footage and also information on what the PSP Go really is. If they show Uncharted 2 and God of War 3 I think people that have shyed away from PS3 will understand why it's good. -

Ok. In a few years you will cringe at comments like that. -

Maase seriously are you brainwashed or something? If they announced a Wii Zimmerframe add-on you'd buy it. 'Imagine a gran walking game! AWESOME!!!!' -
Samus talks. NOOOOOOOOO!!!! What have they done? Looked pretty cool otherwise, compared to the other stuff. Don't understand the mix of FPS third person and 2D. It was only a montage though there isn't a game there yet.

What is this vitality thing? -
I may go to see Drag me to Hell. Without ruining it, is it scary? I'm not too great a fan of horrors but hey.

There's so many games coming out on PS3 and PSN it could easily have it's own show so that's probably why it is 2 hours long. Microsoft had quite a few surprises, I don't think Sony's will but there's bound to be great footage and more importantly release dates. It'll be nice to have a few surprises in there, and there will be a couple I think. We know so little about PSP Go, I reckon there's a feature there which hasn't been revealed yet. Who knows but Sony? I think the Nintendo conference will be laughable again. They really need to get rid of that woman, terrible!

You sound pessimistic and I'm guessing it's because you want to show that you are expecting (even if you're not) Sony's conference to be bad, or even anything from Sony to be bad, just so that it softens the pain if/when it isn't good. Fact is the conference is 2 hours long so there is plenty of time to focus on both PS3 and PSP.
