@ Diag - Basically we play a lot of Poker.
The thing is I'm not really a renter, I know free months of rentals is good but I like to be able to buy games and then sell them at break even or profit, or If I like it enough I'll keep it.
The thing with rentals - I actually find not being committed to a game (i.e. not owning it) probably makes your experience with it less...important? I borrowed Bioshock and found it to be pretty lame, and I never bothered to complete it because I didn't feel I needed to. If I'd bought it I may have stuck with the thing and perhaps I may have appreciated it more.
Also, I don't really want a steady stream of decent games, because that's what it'll devolve into. Unlike films, which largely feel unique to each other and at least have their own qualities, most games that are similar to the 'top-tier' games for me aren't worth bothering with. Eg. Dark Void is a good example, I just wouldn't try it because it's an average cover based shooter, that isn't as good as other shooters.
So any suggestions would really have to be a fairly standout game, or a different one, something with high quality. Ya know?
