I'll give it the benefit of a doubt.

Cammie Dunaway...the future voice of Nintendo?
M-PG71C replied to flameboy's topic in Nintendo Gaming
She reminds me of Hillary Clinton. That's a bad thing. -
Nah, I actually liked what TP had going more realistic. I think it just needs to continue going that way....but add in more unique architecture and make it more "organic". That would make it more complete in my eyes. You can make it fantasy based but yet....it can feel and seem very realistic at the same time. But that's me though, TP was the most enjoyable Zelda title I've played since LttP.

It's a shame that a few people here think that because it has a rainbow in it, it makes it gay. Almost stupid. After reading about it, I'm frankly interested and if it doesn't come Stateside, then I'll be importing it. That damned Homebrew Channel is finally going to prove its worth if it means I can play this import.

Can't say this is my cup of tea, I'll stick to more....conventional music games. And even then, probably not considering the price of admission. :P It seems beside Wario Land Shake and Animal Crossing there isn't too much on the Nintendo side of things. I'm hoping we'll see some significant third party games for the platform going into fall. I know for America we're getting ToS: DoNW in November so that will be pretty kick ass.

I have to admit, I haven't played Okami yet. I'm still catching up on a handful of Wii titles I've yet to play. I just bought Chocobo's Dungeon and Bully so this will have to wait a little longer.

I dunno.....I guess I can't really say anything. I mean, Lost Planet was a beautiful game and I would hate to lose its graphical splendor. But then again, Capcom is a pretty capable developer so if this is something they feel they can do, by all means do it. Everything Capcom has released so far has been fantastic so I encourage to keep bringing the goods.

Dead Rising: Chop Til You Drop (BEST NAME EVER?!)
M-PG71C replied to Boomstick's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Well, I was hoping (back then) that this would be ported to the PS3 at some point. But, I am more than willing to take a Wii port with enhancements though any day of the week. I haven't played it yet so this will be a must-buy for me unless it just sucks. But this is Capcom, I have a little more faith in them than that. :P -
At first, I condemned this game. But you know, I think I am willing to keep an open mind now and consider it. It might end up pretty good.

SNES, no doubt.

I have a pretty good idea in where I want to go. It took some time but it DID require actualy putting in the effort, research, time, and gathering experience to figure it out. All of which I am content with since it probably saved me quite a bit of time that can be dedicated elsewhere. Life is too short to linger around and expect the world to open their hands for you. At the same while, life is too short to plan out everything in a strict notion. You have to have a balance really. It is good to have a solid plan but it is even better if the plan is able to change as you change. My goal is to finish my remaining three years at the uni, become a military officer, and when I become a Captain/Major go back to school (which I would be required to, more or less) and get my Masters in either law or political science, which all depends on a number of factors, none of which I am too concerned about. Otherwise, continue to stay out of debt (my education is paid for through various scholarships and I don't have a car so those hassles are gone), build up my finanices, and continue to study about money in my spare time so in the long run I'll be secured in those respects. Otherwise, I'll be enjoying life.

Soul Eater: Monotone Princess (Square-Enix)
M-PG71C replied to pedrocasilva's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I think the biggest reason why publishers are neglecting putting their top teams on the Wii is simple: The core userbase between the PS3 and 360 completely tops the small, but dedicated, core userbase of the Wii. In other words, they'll make more money going the other way around. Look at how many third party million sellers exist on those machines in compairsion to the Wii, there really is no argument. I'm not saying the Wii should suddenly be left with only B or C rate teams but to expect the grand majority of A teams to develop for the Wii is not exactly financially fesible, especially when considering all the technology publishers have sunk their assects to so they can develop for next-gen systems. There are so many factors being played at hand, to expect a straight forward solution would be foolish. I am going to simply state give the Wii a little more time and give publishers a little more time to organize and if you do that, you can end up with some really positive results. That's me though, however, let the bitching commence. -
Sony Voted More Innovative Than Nintendo, Apple, Microsoft...
M-PG71C replied to Calza's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Tesco is in the American market, but they are known as Fresh & Easy Stateside. However, their success is extremely limited being marked only in a handful of states towards the West. Wal-Mart is pushing their weight in the North American market on top of the stores in attempts to keep them small. And it is working too. Costco would be a bigger threat to them than Tesco. Although IMHO, I would prefer if all three companies went under since they have a tendency to take out local businesses everytime they move. But I digress. :P -
What was 'wrong' with Twilight Princess?
M-PG71C replied to Falcon_BlizZACK's topic in Nintendo Gaming
You know, OoT has aged pretty badly and that is to be expected, it was the first 3D Zelda title. I think the only reason why people fondly remember it is because of nostalgia alone because if you go back and play it and give TP a fair shake, TP is far more evolved in every single respect. So clearly I stand with TP being a fine evolution of the 3D Zelda and while there could have been improvements, like any game, they can be addressed next time. EDIT: Stupid internet, I'll finish the post later. -
Yeah, one more reason why I'm getting the PS3. I love my Wii, I honestly do. But the only things that are coming out that are worth noting are either from Nintendo and its developers or certain third parties like Capcom, Square-Enix, EA (Never thought I would say that), or Konami. The rest is pure crap.

Now that is made of win, I'm in for that one.

Do you like your wii as much as your gamecube.
M-PG71C replied to mcj metroid's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Wii by far, I loved my GameCube and all but I have recieved far more enjoyment out of my Wii. Metroid Prime 3, Zelda Twilight Princess, Mario Galaxy, ExciteTruck, MoH: Heroes 2, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, Mario Kart, Smash Bros Brawl, the list goes on both third party and first party. Oh, and the VC is made of win especially as a university student. I can't exactly drag my systems to my dorm, they would take up too much room. -
Okay, let me put it this way. I need to buy a system in where all of the major publishers are releasing their top AAA products on, despite the fact the Wii is the undisputed market leader (360 or PS3). :P
-
So, HD consoles get titles like BG&E2 and Wii gets....Imagine Babyz Party. This is why I need to get a PS3 soon, I love my Wii. Seriously, I really do and generally it is a damn fine platform. But, I need a next-gen system badly.
-
It'll probably show up at E3 in some form, but this IS SE afterall. They are the kind of company that can tell gamers to go screw off since they are not done with development and no matter when they release it, it'll sell well. Especially if it is a FF, DQ, or KH title. They'll do what they want when they want and when a company can do that, it means they have considerable power in any one industry. But with that said, they won't cancel this. This is a FF title, the name alone ensures it'll sell a 1+ million regardless if it sucks or not.

I don't live in Europe, I live in America. :P I asumed games that make it here would remain the same as the European counterparts. I wonder why UbiSoft decided to censor it though. Nonetheless...
-
No More Heroes got censored in Europe? Didn't know that, seriously, that sucks. Anyway, game looks bad-ass, defintely day one.
-
Well, they got the shoddy online right. Mario Kart Wii is going in the right direction but it is not quite there yet. But really, besides the lack of RPGs, I don't have any real complaints about the Wii and I honestly believe I got my money's worth, if not more. It is certainly the best damn Nintendo system since the SNES, IMHO.

@ The Japanese MeMe My god, they have never been the same since the bomb. May god have mercy for that portion of my family. :P
