I play so little during weekdays but at the weekend, if i dont go ut, then I can play for almost the entire day.

.....Sadly, i conform with a lot of this. Still somewhat enjoyed the demo, but man it felt almost no different. Nothing in it screamed NEW! and I really got a feeling of meh. Even the new 'Legends' mode isn't actually new at all. It was a mode you could play is ISS 2000 for god's sake, albeit with a different name and no online option. I KNEW they would do this. For ages I have been complaining about how they have taken stuff out, only to pump it back in at a later date and make it seem as if it's the next best thing. Can't get fifa yet until I have got PES and seen if it's really a let down.

Anyone tried the PES09 Demo yet. Stuck at work so no chance for me till about 7pm after im done at the gym after work. Mate jsut sent me a txt after hes tried and hes said it wiped the floor with the new FIFA09 game so that has got me even more interested. Oh and when I say FIFA game, I mean the full version, and this is coming from someone who played pro 08 for only a week.

OMG, The opening theme song to one of my fave animes, School Rumble. Made me laugh and cry buckets that anime did (does if there is a third season).

Are game/station even taking xbox games anymore? I know at least the station isnt taking in gamecubes games anymore. Pissed me right off that did.

Meh, I made sure I was earthed and my room has wood flooring so that should have helped created next to no static. That and I was nigh on naked while making the thing, just to make sure that some part of me was touching the case May have been too much information

Well I had setup most of the comp before I even got it. Although I did need to move stuff around to fit in the fans. Oh and a pic of the case that holds all this stuff: Pic does NOT do it justice.

Lots of stuff: great game that my new PC can play Seriously tests my computer. Still trying to find the best way to play this. And had to get through this before I could try warhead. Been meaning to get this for awhile. Steam is a glorious thing isnt it? DVI - HDMI To hook my PC to my HDTV 80mm x 2 case fan but sadly no picture can be provided 120mm case fan but sadly (again) no picture can be provided And this anti shock thing, which with hindsight was probably a waste of money ¬_¬ EDIT: Oh and half a ticket for Chesington World Of Adventures Was so much fun, especially the way brats/kids were at school at the time (took a day off work to go to this place) so waiting times for rides were zero minutes and most could be ridden on again right afterwards. Got soaked on dragon falls

I would like to see it from a developer's point of view, if they can be in a position to have one. For example, they could get started on anothe projeect, or even a sequel but the people who pull the strings know a cash cow when they see one and force them to shoehorn in extra content. Or a team could want to add what could not be fitted in with the given time constraints, but they have to move onto other things. This means that either no extra support is given, or that a lesser team fills in for them. And then, making DLC on particular hardware could prove to be more costly, requiring payments for said extra to factor for the costs. With games like burnout, they have the backing of EA and then, the game has adverts inside it anyways. Either way, I would like to see what they have [hoesntly] tp say.

Heh. Seems like I built my computer at the right time. Bioshock is glorious. Can't decide whether to get COD4 on PS3 or PC. And then the same goes for Far Cry 2. AH and I have to get red alert 3. And the witcher....my head hurts. Serious game overload.

Loved using the shotgun in this game. Lethal when you knock someone to the ground with it. I also love the way you can really hide and take out enemies, like one time I hid in some grass as a guy was chasing me. He could not see so he was shooting very inaccurately, got my sights lined up and blew him away with the shottie. Another time I hid in a box, waited for someone to run past, and then blew him away. And then there was a hilarious time where I was in the drum barrel, where I chased my opponent, into a corner, rolled him down then blew him away, again with the shottie.

FINALLY. Been banging on about this game for ages. Dunno why, but only playing the demo got me liking this game so much. Really hope the controls are up to scratch, as with the wii, it can be a real massive hit or the total opposite. I have high hopes though.

Mine starts on the xbox, spanning the ps2, DS and wii, crossing over the PS3, and finally landing on the PC which has stuff dating back to '98 -
New computer is ace. Nice new computer's rock. That is all. Oh and foxkeh for firefox is uber cute. Now, that is all.

IF you had the CD in the first place. Tis why I dont get too much stuff for firefox like I used to. I know that a format/reset to factory settings is always round the corner ¬_¬

Not sure if this is too late a response but I think what raining says is correct. Experience with returning my computer to factory settings, has created this situation, and I think it's pretty similar, if not the same, to what you want to do. It's a pain in the butt as LOADS of updates await you. Forget using your computer for that day ¬_¬

A mate's computer won't boot up windows, instead it goes to a blue screen of death after that blue bar appears with the logo of xp professional. So I put it in another computer for him and tried to access it with the drive in slave mode. The computer says it can't be read and must be formatted. Im guessing that this is confirmation that A: the drive is buggered and B: that I installed correctly (jumper settings) in the second machine, otherwise it would not be detected. Anyways I tried using the recuva software but it said it could not read the file system type of the drive. SO if I did go ahead and format it, would I still be able to get the data back using the recuva software. Because if not and I do format it, that important data is gone forever. And I dont want to be the culprit of that.

So many people seem to set up their old pcs as servers. I gotta know. Why? What benefits does it bring? And I have managed to abstein from touching this crappy computer. about 18 hours more and I should have a new case to put the new stuff in so I think I can wait (though work is gonna be such torture tomorrow).

Lol yeah, the motherboard is sat in its box atm, with the huge gfx card sticking out of it. the ram and processor are sat inside too just tempting me to do something with them. ANYWAYS, are those workstations unsued because they are old? Your room must be very large to have space for those. Actually I can talk. Got two cpus underneath this table, but one is a mate's that im supposed to be attempting to fix...

Played the demo...and the controls pissed me off. I know I can change them, and I did, but they still pissed me off so pes for now, even though I abhored the PS and PC versions. If my free 09 version isn't up to scratch, then I will give fifa a go.
