Yeah I had gone there already and even turned it off, yet it was just doing it anyways, even when in a game's menu. Anyways my PS3 (kept thinking and typing comp :S) crashed during the burnout out game, so I turned it off at the mains, gave it a 15 min rest, turned it back on, and problem be gone

Congrats! Been a long time coming! How do you feel?

Thanks for that. Trying to wait for the new case to arrive, but getting a little impatient so tempted to just use the case for this pc, take out all the parts and put in this stuff.

HMm I have a problem. My ps3 keeps going into screensaver mode, even when it has not been left idle. I know its not my tv as I can change to another channel, and then when I go back the screen is still dulled. Very annoying as it can happen in game, but generally when I am in one of the menus. Anyone else have this problem and know of a way to sort it?

Ahhh that reminds me of the 'force' that was present in the goal keepers. They could touch the ball with the power of the force, when their hands were nowhere near the ball. Especially potent during times of free kicks. Basically gonna stick with pro as a mate has already pre-ordered it for me for my birthday.

No I didn't read it wrong. I think you are doubting their understanding of what it means to be a friend. They say one thing, but deep down they care. Black star cares, just he wants to be the best. That is all. He doesn't for people's objections to his methods and ideals, but he does care ABOUT them.

VERY true. No way to mod the case unless I got some serious hardware, which I dont have. Not too bothered as I dont have an operating system for it yet, but I was wondering if I could install my hard drive which is sataII, to this old comp of mine which is, old and im not sure if the newer hard drives and backwards compatible. If I was able to install it, could I then install windows vista to it, while the first hard drive still has windows xp on it?

Yeah the card i had previously was, well normal sized. These new ones are just obese! Decided to buy a new case and send this one back. If I can that is. Also leaving the PSU outside of the case is dangerous as it can generate static that way and blow up so, for now, my old comp will suffice.

omg omg omg I loveed the first one. Played through it so many times and..well I guess most have the same feelings about it. Could not even bear to watch my friend show me the sequel. A game that had been raped and left to rot.

Think you are a bit wrong about Black Star and Soul in regard to their friendships. They both have a strong with each other and their partners and they understand when they are needed as a friend most e.g. when tsubaki had to stop her brother. It's just, they act like a typical males and hide feelings well.

Well it turns out im a bit fucked anyways as the graphics card turns out to be a little too large for the case, getting in the way of the psu which is atx size, but larger than the other atx psu that came with the case (which still would give me the same problem if I used that). So I have 3 options. Get a new gfx card that's smaller (dont think thats possible), get a new case (a shame as this one was really pretty and a very nice size) or get a smaller Psu (not sure thats possible while getting the same power output). The case was mAtx sized but could fit an ATX board as space for the PSU was made at the bottom near the front. Here are some links: PSU - http://www.ebuyer.com/product/102993 Case - http://www.ebuyer.com/product/134832 EDIT: There is a fourth option, which I think I will take for now, which is to have the case open with the psu outside ¬_¬

Ok I just got my PC components today and was wondering if it is necessary for me to use thermal grease for my processor and its heatsink (which I unfortunately don't have, but from what I have read, its more of an upgrade than needed).

Cookyman, Choze, Mike, awesome games. Not had more fun online with burnout than that. Twas awesome to see people crashing out, marked man was sooo much fun when a bunch of us were chasing one guy. Choze you bum, I swear the clock was on 0:00 but you managed to somehow find me and take me out. Ah and the time when I took out mike to win it in our earlier session was so.....orgasmic And the mid air takedown had me in fits of laughter too Choze. Cooky, had an awesome time hunting you down when I was in the cop car. Must do eet again! EDIT: Oh and my setup is ps3 connected via HDMI to 32LG3000 (32" if that was not clear) running 720p in games, 1080p on the ps3 menu screen (mmmm lovely detailed themes ) and wireless net that barely ever lets me down. Also have a headset but too lazy to use ¬_¬ next burnout session its going into use.

FIXED. Generally the manga is always superior. To date, this has not been proved wrong in my eyes. Money, time constraints. And generally presenting the material to a new source of fans, to create a need to see more, or to just act as advertising for the manga, are a few factors that come to mind.

This is so true that I dont even pick random for me or my cpu opponent. Actually I don't even play against the cpu anymore because it really feels like they cheat.

Yeah sorry bout that. Actually my eyes hurting is probably a sign that I need sleep.

I have to admit that I have let the angry man inside me get out in some games, resulting in a small storming and a little sulking. BUT YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND! Those were INCREDIBLY tight games in smash which ended with the smash ball being knocked out of me, and then my friend winning it from there...but yeah I love the way I can reminisce and laugh about those times. Getting angry sometimes makes those moments more epic. Fun is first and foremost, because without that, what's the point of playing a game? Oh and pooki, your friend has a serious personality problem. I hope he has some redeeming features away from gaming. EDIT: Feel like a game now?

After doing a bit of reading (reading the specs provided by ebuyer, leads somneone to believe that the cards are the same, and the both support DX10) I am buying an HD4850 Thanks alot for the advice and saving me from buying a 8800GT with a new name. Link of peoples comparisons between 9800gt and HD4850 Me delaying my purchase really shows that things happen for a reason.

Generally dont like radeon. Just..don't know them you know. Plus, I am looking to buy everything from ebuyer as I have an account with them and can get free shipping. here is the card im looking at.

Jesus, the way I constructed that sentence makes me sound like a chav/retarded. Anyways, yeah I remember...desert storm for the Mega Drive had a thick manual. Then when you actually get into it, it's 5 pages then the rest is translation. Actually, that was with all EA games. Ah the Final Fantasty games of old had wonderful manuals.

Ah yeah, forgot about that. Game is possibly harder to learn than the 64 counterpart, whereby if you reached 100% and someone grabbed and threw you, or made a good connection with anything, you were just gone.

This pretty much summed up my fears. but describes perfectly the rig i am buying. Also I have been told that the Q6600 is easy to overclock and works well with the stock fan. I have been wondering though what would be a smart choice for a graphics card. Am looking to spend around £100 on one and have found a BFG nvidia 9800gt card for around that price. Is that a good purchase that should last me for about 2 years?

Sorry but I disagree with this. IMO, these are the types that 'don't have time to read a shitty manual' and are the ones that stick the game straight in the console with no prior knowledge, other than it looks cool. I have known these people and seen it happen, and they find it too hard/complicated so they say its crap and take it back. These are why manuals are barely more than 10 pages, and games tend to have tutorials, some which can be really intrusive and painfully long. I miss the good ol' days of the thick manuals that were like reading a book
