Nice one cheers. I was wondering, is there any major difference bewteen 1080i and 1080p? Because my tv supports 1080i and anything below, but when I change my Xbox display to 1080p I get no image. I hope i'm not missing out on anything amazing.

Anyone know what the update did?

I've been lucky and managed to play about 8 matches, one of them I left it in the lobby and forgot about it, came back about 20 minutes later and eventually people started joining. I can't see how some people have played hundreds of matches. I hope they sort it out soon.

Both games were awful (with the second being more awful). Now I know Uwe Boll is a disgrace to our planet but he could of at least picked better material to use, I mean... Postal? It doesn't even have a frikkin storyline! Oh well, at least he's not butchering anything special. Oh you've played it? Is it better than what they say?

I wouldn't say the dvd drive will be useless. I will be picking one up in the new year, might aswell make more use out of my hdtv. The prices of hd dvds are steep so I'll only be buying certain ones.

I don't agreee with you there, The Death and Return of Superman on the SNES is the greatest Superman game. It's basically Streets of Rage but you can be 5 different Superman characters and the storyline was actually really interesting. I still occasionally play it on emulation (my SNES broke down ) When does the HD DVD drive come out?

Ah fair enough, well when everyones ready... I'm just trying to get some online achievments before I start playing properly. I've managed to get the revive 10 team mates and supply ammo to 20 team mates, I'm having trobule getting the Victory Medal though. I've realised that in order to get General rank you need to basically play the game straight for about 12 years.

Aye, I did get Orcarina for Christmas and it was a truly magical day. I also got Majora's Mask on Christmas too! It wouldn't be the same getting it on the 8th. (I missed my pre-order anyway heh)

Anyone else having problems with finding anyone to play in Ranked matches on CoD3? I always end up just sitting in a lobby by myself.

HD does indeed look fantastic. I am using those HD pins (the blue, green and red things) that come with the Xbox, not sure what they're called. I was wondering what does the VGA cable do, does it make HD look better than what I'm currently using.

Mine has to be A View To A Kill by Duran Duran, the cheese! I don't remember seeing the PPk but he did get out the newer PP9 (I think its called) from his car. That was first introduced in Tomorrow Never Dies. Oh yeah, I saw it again, and its fecking fantastic.

Couldn't agree more (in the Multiplayer department anyway). The MP demo was seriously awful, I could forgive the clunky controls for the single player but not here. I still don';t really know what the power gauge is, and I didn't really get what to do in the match, I just went around pumping the B button on these weirdpower nodes.

Dude not even close! It was a rockin' tune (accompanying some wonderful opening credits) For me Madonna's Die Another Day was the worst Bond song. Oh yeah, and the film was amazing.

Oops yeah sorry, £399. So you have the tv? What do you think of it? Xbox 360 looks great on hit although when I set it to 1080p the image at the sides of the screen bent inwards, do you know how to fix that? Also the picture quality on normal tv channels aren't great, perhaps I should purchase a freeview box. EDIT: Oh haha yeah I got invited to play GoW too Caris, I had to decline as I do not have the game... but! Tomorrow! I'll look for you when I play it (if it comes).

Yeah it's kind of a trashy war film, still, I found it fairly enjoyable, despite what they did with the two original characters. EDIT: Oh and, aren't they making a Hollywood remake of the original?

I went into Gamestation today hoping of any possibility for a pre-order. Luckily they were taking pre-orders and I'm garunteed one before Christmas (well I'm getting for Christmas). I think I'll be getting Wii Play, Monkey Ball. Is it worth getting Zelda on Wii or waiting for GC release?

Woolies just rang me up and they have my tv in finally, it's that Technosonic 32'' HDTV, its a cheapo one, only £499. But with GoW just around the corner I couldn't of asked them to ring me at a better time!

Seeing underage kids drinking so heavily is slightly worrying, but hey, if they're having fun (and not causing any fecking trouble, i.e chavs) then why not let them. I for one go to my local every Thursday and Friday, tis a Weatherspoons but it is cheap and I've got to know most the bar staff which is cool I guess.
