  1. A VR walk in the park would make you sick!
  2. ...why?! They could be motion controlled and put to use independantly too.
  3. I'm imagining one in the left hand and one in the right hand... like a Wiimote & nunchuck but with D-Pad and extra buttons... albeit the placement could be a little better.
  4. I think it's sometimes difficult to ascertain the tone of something that is written.
  5. Best mockup I've seen so far... https://mynintendonews.com/2016/07/28/heres-a-rather-good-nintendo-nx-mockup/
  6. If they want the NX to sell they're going to have to get celebs to advertise it again. For arguments sake: Ant & Dec. Dec is sat at home gaming on the TV, on NX. Ant pops in and mentions some TV show they need to go do, so Dec gets his MX together and takes it with him, gaming on the way. Then vice-versa. One of them is out, playing on the NX as a handheld, they arrive home, hook it up to the TV and carry on gaming. All it needs is something as simple as that.
  7. I absolutely agree with @Hero\-of\-Time For the selling to the masses, I must admit the Wii and DS adverts with the celebs were good.
  8. 3rd Parties will only comeback if the system architecture is similar to the other consoles. Even if it was as powerful, 3rd Parties still wouldn't port their games if the architecture was too different as it'd cost too much to port across. If the architecture is similar then these costs will be driven down and it may be worthwhile porting.
  9. I'll just post the tweet as it's easier than typing up a post myself: [tweet]758586863049375744[/tweet]
  10. So I may be late to work thanks to this game... but I don't care... because I caught this bad-boy... Only took 20+ Razz Berries and 30+ Great Balls (going for the curve ball shots).
  11. So after the Eurogamer article does anyone have any further wild speculations or hope for the NX? Here's mine: Edit: I forgot to put the cartridge slot on my pic! Haha ...and the black bits on the "top" pic are IR sensors for the sensor bar and Wiimote pointing.
  12. Just read The Flash, interesting things happening in the wake of the Speed Force Storm and it was good getting a look at the villain
  13. So if it actually is anything like Eurogamer suggests, I'd like to see something along the lines of this: Form factor similar to the below pictures, although I'd have the following: A) Clickable snub Analogue Sticks as opposed to Analogue Sliders. B) Shoulder button, but a cross between a smaller version of the Gamecube button and a scroll-wheel. So it scrolls and depresses to a click. But having seen the following picture I've also had some more thoughts... The screen part of the portable has a sensor bar. You dock the screen, connect it to the TV, upscaling occurs, and you use the 2 control parts of the device like Wiimote+'s but with all the button as I said above. So effectively you have a HD super-Wii, which has a relatively traditional method of input too: 2 clickable analogue sticks D-Pad 4 shoulder buttons (2 of which are a scroll) 4 face buttons ...all on 2 motion sensor control parts. Throw in a camera on the back of the screen section for some AR gaming (Pokemon) whilst on the go and voila! EDIT: VR, ala mobile phone VR, as per what @dazzybee says below too... That's my dream (with OS level Party Chat of course :p )!!! So essentially this:
  14. So what if the handheld part of it used Tegra X1, but you clip it into the base-station dock thing to hook it up to the TV and that has a Tegra X2 in it..? Will that bring it up to speed when playing on the TV?
  15. Like when they said in the lead up to WiiU that it would be on par with other consoles and have all the online and functionality of the competitors too? Also, I've always agreed on the Linkin' Park album (Hybrid Theory) @dazzybee
  16. Powered by Nvidia Tegra tech... http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2016-nintendo-nx-mobile-games-machine-powered-by-nvidia-tegra
  17. Well this is my paltry showing so far... most of the better ones were caught out of eggs!
  18. After BvsS I wouldn't have been interested in JL at all, but thanks to getting back into comics I'm actually interested again. Although the trailer didn't do too much for me. Good shout on the decision to show how beastly Aquaman is, I concur.
  19. Haha, my god I agree! Over in Manchester it feels like Drowzee have invaded!
  20. ...and of me. I've never held any interest in Pokemon... I was a little old when the cartoon came about and I'm no fan of the games because of turn-based combat. I use this every day though!
