How are you finding Apex on Switch? I heard about the 30 FPS and sub 720p and thought it wouldn't be viable. I’ve not tried it yet I must admit, still putting my time into the PS4 version. I only downloaded it on Switch for when the TV is in use and me & the step-son can game together (the Xbox is in his room). I went into the Firing Range (practice area) to set up the back-buttons on the controller and it felt as though there was input lag, I tried in handheld mode & with the normal Pro Controller too and it felt the same, but I’m not sure if that was due to my wifi signal being dump at the time.

Yeah the gyro is broken. I hope Panic Button put in a fix. On Pro Controller with them turned off (didn’t try with them turned on) it’s great though.

DeeBeeGeek’s stream of Breath of the Wild (his first Zelda game) is an amazing journey, a PlayStation & Xbox gamer diving headfirst into Zelda, it’s well worth watching... hours of fun as he plays it to completion.

Going in with low expectations so I can be happy after it. Given that they said they’d be “focusing” on first half 2021 games, they may yet still show stuff coming after. So my wishlist would be: Zelda HD Collection Metroid Prime Trilogy HD Breath of the Wild sequel trailer Metroid Prime 4 teaser trailer Xenoblade Chronicles X port (with updated faces on character models)

I’ll be downloading but I’ll be on sporadically, but when I am on I’ll be up for it. Good to see Nintendo promoting it too.

The game is launching March 9th. Well worth a download, there’s not much like it on Switch. It’ll be 5 weeks into season 8 of the game and is in the best shape it’s been after more balancing.

Everyone is trying out the Hunting Horn right? I can’t wait to put the demo on and give it a blast, it looks amazing, a great upgrade to the weapon!

I’ve preordered the game, will definitely get on... gutted there’s no voice chat in the game though. Although I played MH4U without it so I’ll play this too.

I keep saying how they should revert the offside rule back to how it used to be, similar to the goal-line rule... if the whole of the player is beyond the last line of defence then it’s offside, just as the whole of the ball needs to be across the line for a goal. As far as an “unfair advantage” goes, that’s the risk a defender runs when pushing up for offside. It just means the forward timed their run better.

VAR should be a good thing but my oh my poor officiating is really taking away from it! United got lucky thanks to it yet again. They’ve really had poor decisions go their way.

Has anyone seen Fog Hill of Five Elements? It’s a Chinese animé from a studio of only 7 people and is planned to be 8 episodes in its first season (only 3 released so far - they’re being released irregularly as the studio is so small). The animation is INSANE!

The Switch is doing big numbers. If they release more AAA games on it that aren’t just ports it’ll keep selling like crazy too.
