  1. The wave beam featured in the first Metroid Prime! It shot three beams that would "wave" as they travelled! I can't wait for this game..... woooooooo!
  2. Man this game is going to be so great! I hope they do add multiplayer in the end... I'd like a multiplayer mode akin to Hunters, you could play as Samus, the different hunters in the game and also the Federation Marines and Space Pirates... that'd be awesome!
  3. Yeah, I pretty much thought "Wow, this is where next-gen has been hiding!" Looks great!
  4. Drowning, even thinking about it makes me feel physically sick! Funny that I love scyba diving and stuff like that but if I have a fear it's drowning for sure! I'd rather be burnt/eaten/buried alive!
  5. I have posted this in general E3 discussion but it applies here too... http://www.kotaku.com/gaming/top/e306-clips-e3-morning-stampede-173469.php
  6. I love you Dante... thank you! I've not been more hyped for this game than I am right now! EDIT: sorry King Boo, must've just skipped that... love you too then! hehe
  7. IGN confirm no online play.... NOOOOOOOOO! After playing Hunters online this would've been a great feature for Metroid, although I still feel the single player game is THE most important thing in the game!
  8. Nope, official pic from E3... I still don't see the point in it though!
  9. With it being a Nintendo IP I doubt that it's just "hitting stuff"!
  10. 1up's brief hands-on: http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3150581
  11. I hope it is nearly finished, Nintendo need to make a BIG impression with it so it should be as polished as it can be by this stage! Also my most anticipated!
  12. I always love reading things like this bit!
  13. First day purchase for sure!
  14. Eternal Darkness - although not quite to the calibur of say the Metroid Prime games, this effort from Silicon Knights is an absolute gem! SK really show that they are masters of storytelling, it's excellently scripted and the voice acting is fantastic! The atmosphere is gripping and the sanity effects... simply, WOW! I would love to say so much more but I just couldn't do the game justice... a definate MUST-HAVE title!
  15. Doubt it, not enough developers have the final dev-kits surely, I thought these were to be issued out around June... give them a few months for touching up the games I'd say November is the best bet, maybe October!
  16. Come on lads, don't be fools! This is an advert for his new boots (new at the time), it's completely edited! Nobody at the moment is close to being as good as Ronaldinho! All the tricks he does, he hdoes them every week and even at international level! Nobody else is that good!
  17. I can't remember being hyped for something this much! E3 has always been better than any Xmas or Birthday or anything! AWESOME!
  18. Me ...and my friend and me in Donmuang police station in Thailand (can't resist posting this!)
  19. The way I see myself holding the controller sideways is just like this, index finger holding each top corner and middle finger holding each bottom corner... my fingers aren't all over the place here... and it's comfortable to hold.
  20. AFT. I couldn't agree any more with this, I think it's in their best interest to relsease Wii with 2 controllers as standard!
  21. 1UP have an article "All about Wii", linky link here... http://www.1up.com/do/feature?pager.offset=0&cId=3149198 And something quite interesting they say...
  22. As it's such an abstract name/word, the advertising for it can be really good! People will not automatically think urine when they see it as they'll just see the letters W,I and I. For example, you have an advert (visually, not TV), it's plain white with the logo "Wii" on it and a date underneath. How can you relate this to urine, that won't be the thing cropping up on people's minds as they won't see the pronunciation... they'll be thinking what it could be, this kind of advertising could work for Nintendo. Another, plain black poster with the blue light central with Wii and date underneath. Simplistic advertising is the way to go for Nintendo in places like magazines and posters, when on TV then they should go along the route of the DS, to show the physical implications of the controller. If you look on the advertisement ideas thread - http://www.revo-europe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5924 - there are a couple decent ideas on there (YenRug's is very clever and Catterick's is great - it would be Nintendo taking the mick out of themselves in a similar manner to how budweiser do now in regards to football/soccer) Wii really is a great name, universal, easy to pronounce, very simple and minimilistic and they logo can be quite catchy! Only in the English speaking countries (not all of them) can it be taken out of context and thats by fanboys really (people who "want" to find something bad in the name), the average Joe on the street won't think urine! Look at Virgin, a huge corporate brand and people don't think about young ladies who have not yet been "spoiled", when talking about it or watching their adverts!
