I agree with Sessler but I'd also add that it's its not just the software line-up that isn't shifting the units, it's the lack of people realising its a new system and not just a Wii add-on. I'm on my lunch at work and have just been chatting to the lads in my local Grainger Games, both love Nintendo. They're so disheartened with Nintendo just as others here are, yet another thing has been getting them down...they've said that the majority of people that have asked about the WiiU in store have still thought it to be an add-on for the Wii. Once told its not they keep hearing that its too expensive for what it is. The lack of any decent advertising and information and the high price is contributing so much to the lack of sales.

BBC always report about E3 on their Technology page, so do a lot of other news sites... and they have plenty more people viewing them than gaming sites!

Even so, Microsoft's and Sony's Conferences were definitely worse. Last year it was Ubisoft that "won" E3! Their conference was definitely the best!

The WiiU won't sell well beyond the Nintendo fan-base. I reckon numbers between GC and N64 sales numbers. It won't gain much momentum at all. Especially not at the price it's currently at!

I agree with @Zechs Merquise Nintendo have completely lost it. This is exactly how not to drive up momentum for the console! I swear they have lost all sense of business practice!

With there being no E3 Press Conference I do t know if momentum will pick up at all this year. They need to be getting the message across to the average joe in the street that its a new console capable of much more than the Wii. Most people still don't know this.

No way have you got a WiiU?! You'd been so negative about it even before launch, why on earth did you bother picking one up? lol Get MH3U and join us, it'll give you plenty of hours of gameplay... unless you've tried it and hate it of course, then it wouldn't, haha.

That's a fantastic promotion, although I'll not be taking advantage of it myself. I've got Luigi's Mansion 2 and none of the others are ones I'm interested in.

I don't like the weekly releases, I don't want to be waiting ages for the games I want again. Just open the doors and let me put what I want I my basket! They best handle it better than they did on the Wii... and I think they should drop the prices dramatically too. Although they won't of course.

Heat of the moment or not, I still believe solitary isn't too harsh a punishment for what he did... and if that punishment really is that bad then I believe the person that planned the bombings deserves that punishment too. ...and sorry to all for the wind up, I'm just a cheeky git.

I hope they've thought about things like this, it'd be criminal of things like this weren't in the game!

Saw this during my lunch break at work for £20 new and thought "go on then".

If the guy is caught and put in solitary confinement for the duration of his sentence people here will bitch and moan saying its too harsh a punishment.

Another way this could be used is if you need to collect an item that is within a pit, the problem is that the pit is a fire-pit. You could walk your Red Pikmin into the area and they could grab the item... but how do they get out of the pit? The Pink Pikmin fly above the fire and grab onto the Red Pikmin's leaf and lift the Red Pikmin whilst the Red Pikmin hold onto the item. They then get flown out of the pit without problem! I'd love stuff like this!

I'd like to see objects that can't be carried by just one type of Pikmin so you do get some circumstances where Pink Pikmin and others are carrying items, that'd be cool. Lets say, for example, there's a stream with an item across the other side. Blue Pikmin can cross over there but can't cross back because the stream is too deep at the side they first entered. The Pink Pikmin alone can't carry the item for whatever reason (you only have a certain number of them lets say), so you send over Blue and Pink Pikmin. Together they carry the item, the Pink Pikmin enabling the Blue Pikmin to walk across the surface of the stream... Jesus style!

I actually do agree, I'm just ranting. I do think it was made to go WiiU mid-development but I do think they were fairly far along into development when they decided to switch it.

My thoughts... it got delayed as it was originally a Wii game. They then pulled a Twilight Princess and decided to release it on WiiU. They polished it and upgraded some textures here and there and thought it was ready to be a release game. They then got feedback after showing it and realised a lot of people were saying it looked like an upgraded Wii game and not like it was built from the ground up for WiiU. They've not started again from scratch but they're doing as much polishing as they can to get it looking as good as they can... for an upgraded Wii game.

I never take my 3DS anywhere, it doesn't fit in the pocket comfortably enough. I've only taken it out of the house once, that was to the Play Expo last year. I think the only reason I've still got it is for Monster Hunter 4... although I am loving Luigi's Mansion 2.
