Haha, what have I woken up to here..? The "kavalry", haha, I like that! I was just pointing out as @dazzybee mentioned, when the Wii was the best-selling console people went on like sales didn't matter and it was just about the games... even though the Wii had tonnes of great games which was ignored too oddly. Yet come the WiiU's so far dismal performance sales is all of a sudden the bigger picture (it's always the bigger picture) although the WiiU is beating it's opposition when it comes to the quality of it's games currently.

If you're not comfortable starting up a conversation right away then I reckon you should tell her you think she's good looking at least... but that's it, then leave. Then next time you're in then start up a conversation. Say something like "Hi, I'm sorry about the randomness of this but I just have to say, you are absolutely stunning. Really, breathtaking." Then just walk out. A compliment is at least nice, right?

Oh god I'm not suggesting that. But case in point, someone posted in the Last of Us thread after some people were suggesting it was game of the generation. That person stated they felt Mario Galaxy was game of the generation. That post was then deleted. So I figured I'd post that too, mine went undeleted... why? It was practically word for word what the other person wrote? That was not moderating with equality. I just feel an equality across the board would be fair when it comes to moderating. I'd love for discussions to take place on the forum, but it's difficult at times with the tone some people tend to use. This is from both sides of the arguements I can agree.

This is the unfortunate truth with this forum, you always get the same people coming in and hating on Nintendo yet you don't see the Nintendo fans going into the other boards slating the other consoles... and if they did they'd be immediately warned. The stupidity of some people on this forum truly amazing me. It's ok for one person to say about another "Oh, you're still alive are you?" and yet when the other person says that someone lied about something and then even posted proof of that lie, they got an infraction for it. Great moderating on show there! Don't get me wrong, I love this place, I've been here since the n64-Europe days and made some truly great friends thanks to it, but there are some truly bad habits on the forum in recent years. Back to talk about the WiiU, that line-up needs Monolith Soft's "X" in it!

@Hero\-of\-Time in extensive game-time shocker! Dude, the rate you go through games is so impressive!

The only things I want is party chat and a unified account system but I do agree with the whole of this post. Yet also, @Zechs Merquise is right, it seems only Nintendo is bringing gaming that feels fresh still this holiday season. They sure make the best games!

I remember when Reggie said that online is the air that gamers breathe and that Nintendo wants to give us as much of that air as possible... then they go and make most of their games offline multiplayer only. Nice one Reggie, nice one!

Gaming with the N-E lot... MHTU in particular as well as Black Ops 2 (and Ghosts now). Mostly though, I started gaming with more of the community than I had done on the Wii. Through this I got to meet @Blade and what a good friend he now is! Love you man (it's a bromance). My favourite feature of the console is off-TV play, it suits as we only have 1 TV in my place and my flatmate can watch it whilst I game! Awesome feature. The funny things is, even when he's not in or not using the TV I still play on the Gamepad only, I've found myself preferring it that way!

On the patch they got rid of the "snap-to" aim assist for the Wiimote... which they needed to really to nerf the snipers. You'd not believe how crazily I was owning the other night.

Nothing could save the Gamepad though!

60 levels per prestige, don't think I'll bother. I only prestiged in prior CoDs to get extra custom class slots.

The maps are way too big for my liking. The spawns are a complete mess I've found and lag-compensation is as ever present as it was in BO2. With the maps, I find I get bored and frustrated at times, yet also I get spawned down the barrel of an enemy gun so much that it's laughable. It happened 4 times in a row on one game, 4 of the cheapest deaths I'd ever had, it was like Goldeneye on the WiiU. Why spawn me so close to someone when the maps are so big?! This pisses me off more than anything did in BO2. What does my head in is how it's so up and down, probably more than BO2 was, your connection to the host is either good and you can engage in gunfights or it's utter bollocks and you don't have gunfights as you die in what seems like one shot no matter what you do. Again, it'll all be down to connection to host and networking, which they've ballsed up again.

It's the same everywhere. I went Ito my local Grainger to double check they got the game in. They hadn't received it, yet they were supposed to.it would have been the only WiiU copy they had. Luckily they Gould have received it in the morning delivery but hadn't so they called the manchester warehouse to see what had happened with the deliveries. Turned out that my copy got delivered to another store, only 3 miles away mind and they're still doing a midnight launch too, so the staff at my branch told them to put my copy to the side for me. Now the joke. In manchester, all that was ordered for WiiU from Grainger was apparently the following: Altrincham (my local branch) - 1 copy Sale (my game ended up here) - 3 copies Stockport - 7 copies

Oh they definitely need to learn how to help themselves. I can't believe how off the boil they have been with the whole marketing/positioning of the WiiU.

Urgh. We were terrible in the second half, Newcastle deserved the win.

I agree with this, Nintendo need all bases covered but for some demented reason they're not doing so.
