The World Ends With You - Squeenix Fashion-Dance-JRPG!
D_prOdigy replied to gaggle64's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Recieved this for my Birthday. Certainly my favourite DS game thus far. I can understand how its complexity may baffle the n00b crowd, but if you're looking for something deep, there's nothing more innovative out there. -
I need to deduct what is appropriate material. Does this phot feature you and/or someone who you'd rather not be targeted with risque jokes?

I don't want there to be any blood here, folks! Let's just calm down and relax. Have I introduced you to my friend, The Vein?

After one denial too far, Ross Kemp's long-term partner decided that he hadn't cleaned the dishes for long enough.

I thought it was a pretty innovative concept. But as is already deductable from posts preceeding this one, it was an abnormally... tame for a Doctor Who episode.

There's something weirdly quirky about Dead Rising that makes me think it is just so suited to a Nintendo console. Bet it's that.

Haha, I didn't even go there. I WOULD have gotten myself worked up if I held any hope for ToS making it.

Heh. I voted Golden Sun; I see I was perhaps the only one. If I was a managing director or whatever in Game, I would actually take away the 1,000,000 reward points just for what he voted for.

What was 'wrong' with Twilight Princess?

...mmmyeah, I think it would actually be time to commit suicide when we here David Hayer as Link saying "mmm... Zelda?" -

Happy Birthday to the both of you!

No, of course, you're right. It's always best to take everything with a pinch of cynacism. I feel I do that a little too much though, perosnally, and I am a sucker for anything that reminds me of the original Half-Life :P

The track record is, admittedly, made up of largely liscenced games. However, you also need to take into account that with those games, the publisher was likely typically strict with deadlines and intrusive in the devlopment process. HVS have already stated that the reason they've not chosen a publisher yet (they have about 10 trying to bite their hands off) is because they've been burned in the past. HVS have a big enough budget to get The Conduit finished themselves, and when they feel the game is far enough along so it can't be tampered with by any other company, they'll open up to publishers. This really isn't like any other game they've made before.

I was gonna post something like "THE VEINS! LOOK AT THE VEINS!!!" but you've sort of beaten me too it. Again, with the Space Pirate thing, my thought's exactly. Still very hyped for this baby.

Happy happy happy happy day of Birth!

Last two GCSEs ever today. French Reading: Amazingly relieved with its simplicity following a harrowng Listening exam. Geography: Solid, but not really hard. Glad I went to revision earlier, as my teacher drilled into our minds vital case studies that we needed. I wish all exams were on this level: doable, but not too easy. Felt proud of myslef afterwards. Yep. Chemistry is perhaps the only blip on an otherwise fair 3 weeks of exams.

I really felt for Alex, Helene's incompetence definately pulled him down. Why was he in the final again? But apart from her, they all had many redeeming features about them, and are (I'm sure) very employable. Lee probably would have gotten most out of the job though. He says one of the first things he'll do with with his pay check is put central heating in his Mum's flat. Bless.

It wasn't as bad as it could've been, to be honest. I'm not sure how many exam boards there are across the country that cover history (I'm on AQA) but the topics we'd covered for this paper were USA: Booming 20's - New Deal and Germany 1921(I think...) - 1939. It was basically the stuff that I'd neglected perhaps most during revision, but luckily we had, to some extent, a choice in deciding which questions exactly we answer, so I did as well as I could have done. Tomorrow are potentially the two hardest ones. French is a subject where it's generally a case of "wish I hadn't/don't know why I picked". And with Geography, there's always a risk of getting a rock-solid paper.

Right, I've ordered this from Play.com yesterday, so it should arrive very soon. If anyone else has it who doesn't have my Wii number, feel free to pre-emptively swap codes with me.

Had a delicous History exam today, leaving only French Reading and Geography 2 tomorrow, then GCSEs are OVER

I think that 3rd screen down looks OK, to be honest. There's definately worse visuals elsewhere on Wii, but the main thing I'm worried about is that this is yet another WW2 FPS.
