I got my fightpad back in February and I love it, defo better than the standard 360 pad. For charge characters I find it a bit annoying because of the way the d-pad 'rocks' for want of a better word. It might just be me but when I try to do charge super combos they don't always come off 100%. But, as a Cammy player I don't think about it too much:p

Pleasantly surprised after playing this. Really enjoyed it, I thought the controls were good and the graphics were pretty good. More exciting was the new Uncharted 2 MP Beta video which just looked amazing so yeah, might buy this.

Your rare and most prized gaming items

It depends on what you class as rare I suppose. The stuff that I've got that I THINK is hard to get a hold of is: I've got every issue of Official Dreamcast Mag Deep Fear on Saturn Evil Twin on DC Under Defeat on DC REZ on DC Final Fantasy VII on PS1 (original non-Platinum one) Street Fighter Anniversary Collection on Xbox Beyond Good & Evil on Cube Chibi-Robo! on Cube Tomb Raider Legend on Cube Mortal Kombat Deception (NTSC) on Cube TMNT (2007 - NTSC) on Cube Avatar: The Legend of Aang on Cube Naruto: Clash of Ninja European Version on Cube Battle Fantasia on 360 -
Star Ocean 4 is coming out in Europe on June 5th! Quite interested in this one - never played a SO game before, so with it coming out the day before my birthday I might just ask for this as a gift. Anyone know if there is a firm PAL date for Tales of Vesperia yet?

I'm still a bit 'meh' about this actually. Agree with Jordan that it is pretty hard and that really, you didn't play these crossover games the same way you played a "real" street fighter. I think it seems a bit pricey as well - at least with SSF2THDR it had redrawn HD graphics, whereas this is just smoothed around the edges. The fact I would be paying £10 for an ever so slightly smoother game that is already perfect on Dreamcast narks me slightly but then there is online play... I'll see what the demo is like first methinks.

Even though it is brilliant I wouldn't say its the definitive version as this port only contains the 'OutRun 2 SP' tracks and doesn't have the original 15 tracks from 'OutRun 2' which the 2006 console versions did. I hope the original 15 tracks are offered as DLC at some point though!

AMAZING... that's the word to describe OutRun. Downloaded it this morning, completed all the courses and had one game online. Any Sega fanboys or people who love arcade thrills should download it straight away.

It was a constant worry as a Saturn owner that your internal battery would die! Apparently the batteries are supposed to last 10 years but mine never did! You could buy (as has been previously mentioned) the official Back-Up Cartridge - they cost £40 but it was worth it as it could hold hundreds of save files and mine never ran out of space. The cartridge slot was also used by developers to give Saturn extra memory. The most famous example was the 4MB RAM Cart released by Capcom (only in Japan unfortunately) to help with their plethora of 2D fighters on the Saturn to give pretty much arcade-perfect ports that destroyed the PS ports. I'm amazed so few of you know a lot about the Saturn but then I remembered - it was exactly the same back in the day:)

Yay, Sega have confirmed an April 15th release for OutRun Online Arcade and an 800 Microsoft Points price:yay::yay: Was convinced it was going to cost more but hurrah for some sensible pricing. Anybody else getting it next week?

Oh Saturn how I love thee... Best console of its generation in my opinion although I have a funny feeling that those playing its bounty of games now may reel back in horror at its admittedly blocky 3D graphics but at the time, oh my it was a beautiful console with amazing games to match.

Any PS3 owners who have yet to pick up Prince of Persia should get over to Play.com PRONTO as its only £9.99 for TODAY ONLY. Special Play.com pack that also includes the Epilogue DLC which is a pretty good deal - shame I already have it for 360 really. Here is the link:http://www.play.com/Games/PlayStation3/4-/8986149/Prince-Of-Persia-Play-com-Exclusive-Edition/Product.html

FINALLY managed to bag a copy of Battle Fantasia the other night and it arrived this morning. Its pretty sweet actually, not a patch on SFIV but still a really enjoyable beat 'em up. Anyone else got it? Its had a really limited release here and its a shame because it would be great to be able to find a match online but there's no-one out there!!!

I've been back on the ol' PS3 again this week because of Silent Hill being up for download - I love that game so much even now and it was the first thing I've ever bought off of PSN. Anyway, does anyone know if that cross-over RPG CrossEdge is getting a UK release? I know it comes out in the US in May but does anyone know about Europe?

@Mike1988uk - exactly the same thing happened to me last October when I got my Green 360 Controller (the one with the slightly improved d-pad). It drove me insane but after about a month (!) both sticks stopped squeaking and now it doesn't make any noise whatsoever. No idea why it happens (thought I was the only one) but persevere and it should go away... hopefully.

My brother has stopped being an ass and now I have played it and boy - this game is damn good! Just finished chapter 1-2 and then had my tea so off to start chapter 2 real soon. Capcom seem to be on a roll just now on the 360 (and PS3) so I hope they don't mess up LP2. So yeah, RE5 is my new favourite game:wink:

I got my copy in the post this morning but can't play it because my 360 is currently on its way back to me from being repaired. My brother has his own 360 but is being a complete asshole and not letting me near his machine so looks like it'll be tomorrow (hopefully) til I can play it. Its killing me that its here in front of me and I can't give it a go!!!!

Xbox number 2 is starting to act up! Just got the two red lights saying that its overheating which I find hard to believe especially where it is positioned but OK. Unplugged everything and leaving it to cool off but I don't have high hopes that it will sort itself out. Noticed over the last week its been getting quite hot and then this morning the main fans were super loud so I thought something was up. I really don't want to have to send it off for repair so has anyone had this happen to them and their Xbox has lived to tell the tale or is the dreaded three lights an inevitability now? This generation sucks ass for reliability - this is my 2nd 360, I'm also on my 2nd PS3 after the lens died but still on my 1st Wii:cry:

Is there a whiff of Dreamcast revival-ness in the air? Sega must capitalize on this because there will be tons of people like me who were and are still loving the Dreamcast so being able to play these games in HD on 360 would be amazing, although I could do without Sonic Shuffle - still seems like an odd choice (if it indeed does reappear).

Pretty much agree with Aimless, its not worth 800 MSP unless you're a complete Tomb Raider Nut (like me) but I'm LOVING it so far. Not finished yet and I've been playing for well over 2 hours so far but I've been scouring every area to find treasures and so far have 25/28 so I assume I must be nearing the end I could see a 26th treasure near the start of the level I just couldn't get to it. However I DID find the Relic (Achievement get!) - found it before I could get to it - you need to do something first before you can reach it... - but yeah loving it.

Slight bumpage but is anyone else buying the first of the DLC for the 360? After a two week delay Beneath The Ashes hits Marketplace tomorrow (24/02) for 800 MSP. Basically a new level (or levels?) underneath Lara's mansion and an extra 125 gamerpoints. I'm a bit of a Tomb Raider nerd so I've already got my points ready and am quite excited to play the new area. Anyone else downloading?

HaHa - That's right be careful of sweet little Cammy because she's been kicking asses all nite :P And he is being modest but damn, Jordan is amazing with Ken - still haven't beaten him with that character yet but there's still time...
-
Got the game and my beautiful Chun-Li pad today and now that I have unlocked Cammy I am ready to take the fight online:yay: Took me a few fights to get used to it but now that I have it really is the best fighting game ever. Fightpad is really responsive although I do find doing charge Super Combos (like Chun-Li's for example) a bit difficult to pull off sometimes because of the way the pad rolls around but other than that glad I got it with the game. Going to add all the 360 players so hopefully will get a few matches in over the weekend.

My game and controller are 'dispatching soon' from Amazon GUTTED - thought maybe they had forgotten to update their page and I would get it today. I'm starting to think I won't get it until Saturday now which would be crushingly disappointing. Hurry up Amazon you bitches the anticipation is killing me!!!
