  1. I've not had my dinner yet, but my Dad's just got in and mentioned we're having pasta bake with sausages. So automatically even before eating it it'll be a 3/10, purely because the pasta ends up ruined when done this way. I'll take a trip to Burger King after dinner most likely.
  2. Yeah he picked it up after a friends recommendation, but originally he thought he was told to pick up Starsailor instead as he misheard his friend.......hence why a Starsailor track ends up in MGS3. He must be quite a fan of Stellastarr considering he's brought their latest album aswell. I've had a little listen to them, and there's definitly a bit of The Killers in there.
  3. Someone's been reading Hideo Kojima's blog then!
  4. Wow, you like Death Cab and Sparta...........Haver you're the man! So I'll take their other album. Album: Sparta - Wiretap Scars Foodstuff: Boots Chicken & Bacon Sandwich (got to stay healthy remember.....too much pizza would just kill me) Book: I don't read books......but I'm sure I can start reading the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Person: Most likely one of my mates
  5. Yeah, they did announce it. Due out mid next year I believe.
  6. Yeah yeah.............I know I should of gone and seen it, but in the past I've just gotten annoyed with sitting in the cinema watching a film that I've been waiting for for ages just to have either my mates laughing and talking throughout, or some other arse in the back lobbing stuff. But to tell the truth, you really can't beat watching a film at the cinema for the full experience. I'm glad you enjoyed it though dazzybee, and your comment leads me to expect great things when I finally see it on Monday.
  7. I never bothered going to the cinema to see Episode 3, and I've already got Ep1+2 in my DVD collection...............so this purchase is inevitable for me. I hope I'm wowed by some CG lovelyness, or I'm going to be disappointed. I finish college at 2pm on Monday, so I'll drop by my work on the way home, and then watch it straight away when I get in. I've also aquired the Corpse Bride tonight which I'm going to watch tomorrow.
  8. My favourites would proberly be: Metal Gear Solid 2 Zelda: OOT Prince of Persia SOT FFVII (go watch the PS3 tech demo of it if you haven't already) I's usually more impressed with the openings of games than the endings...............although that may come down to me not wanting the game to end.
  9. There's always one. If there's nothing for you to discuss then why bother? Anyway, I can't see it ever toping Gamesmaster!
  10. It's been confirmed that GTA: LCS isn't due in shops until 4th November. The US date hasn't been affected apparently.
  11. Everyone that's brought this game in the US is raving about just how amazing it really is. Just the art direction in general is blowing some people away aswell as the vastness of the game world............and alot of people are calling it an instant classic, and that it's up there with the best of them just like Ico was a few years back. Now if that doesn't make you anticipate it, then I don't know what will. I'll be buying this and Katamari, then the PS2 will be laid to rest me thinks.
  12. Rendering what exactly? The on screen display and just general updating in general, or rendering as in calculations with Premiere/FinalCut for example?
  13. Remember we already have the 512MB of on-board flash memory.
  14. Just don't talk to them..................and whenever they try speaking to you, just use the shortest answers possible. Many years back some girl asked me out when I was pist, and I stupidly said yes and not realising it the following morning. It went okay for about 2 weeks, then I just thought enough is enough, and just started ignoring her. I'm a cruel **** sometimes, but when you're young you do things like that. Nowdays I wouldn't ever think about getting rid of a girl in this way. If that doesn't work, then introduce your girlfriend to one of your mates who'll shag anything, and just watch from afar. Edit - wow, we have swearing filters now!
  15. I use Photoshop on Mac's at college, and you can notice how much more stable it runs when dealing with big images. As for buying a Mac purely for design, then I would say go ahead and do so. If you don't bother playing games on your PC, then you really aren't going to miss Windows. Another advantage that the Mac's have over a Windows based PC is their multitasking capabilities........and this would be extremely useful if you often use a combination of design programs at once. If you use Adobe Premiere on a PC, then when you start using a Mac you'll have to jump over to FinalCut Pro, which in my opinion is alot better than Adobe's video editing software.
  16. As far as I know Project Gotham Racing, Perfect Dark Zero, Kameo, and Dead or Alive are all pretty much confirmed as launch titles going by what's been sent out to retail about them.
  17. For some reason at work today not one person brought Quake 4, while we sold over 40 copies of Football Manager 06 and a good 60-70 copies of Pro Evo. I think it's just the Quake hardcore that'll be buying this............and after some peoples disappointment in Doom 3, then it's quite understandable. Anyone tried the multiplayer yet?
  18. Sorry..........but again, some people should just speak for themselves. Between the age of 16-18 I could just screw any bird, but when you know you can get it, then what's the point in rushing. Lost mine at the age of 18 to my girlfriend at the time. There's more to life than that my friend.
  19. Playing: Nintendogs for about 15mins each day. Listening: Death Cab For Cutie - Transatlanticism Watching: Dazed and Confused I've only listened to it once so far..............but I'm just too addicted to Transatlanticism.
  20. If you're thinking about buying a PSP soon , then I recommend waiting out till 21st November because Sony are sending out the PSP Giga Packs which obviously have a 1GB memory card in the box. It's going to be selling for £214.99 apparently. http://www.gamesindustry.biz/news.php?aid=12402
  21. As long as they change the aging old formula of the game, then I'll welcome it with open arms..............but considering the size of the changes from 2>3 then I can't say I'm excited. The demo didn't blow me away at all. Hopefully Civilization IV can deliver the goods.
  22. I would have thought that a major company to do with the Doom franchise is behind the bidding. I just can't see a fan of the series coughing up that much cash for it.
  23. No worries man........you didn't come across badly at all. Your input is muchly appreciated like everyone elses. I don't suppose you've got a link to that have ya.......as I wouldn't mind checking it out.

    PES 5

I'm going to wait for a promo copy to fall into my hands in a few months time like I did lastyear. I'm looking forward to finally having the chance to play the PS2 version online.
  25. Pixar use their own in-house software along with their Renderman tools. Dunno about the others, but I would have thought Valve do the same, considering the versatility of the SDK's they released. Sorry, forgot to add. I would go nowhere near saying that any of these so called "other " programs are in anyway inferior to XSI. For example, Bizarre Creations used Lightwave throughout PG3's development.
