  1. Thanks! A trophy swap via WFC wouldn't have gone amiss. Even just for the random ones.
  2. Good luck. The regular enemy I had most trouble with was the smiley face on a stack of 4 bases in the shape of a pyramid (forget his name). Do you go for Intense difficulty for an increased chance of trophy stands, but the enemies are rock hard, or an easier difficulty where you get less trophy stands but easy enemies? Decisions, decisions. I spent 3400 coins on the Coin Launcher last night and disappointingly got only one more trophy: Falco (Assault). 2 trophies left to get: Mizzo - Random Stickers - Collect all stickers
  3. Well done! I died about the same number of times that I died with Mario. I forget the exact number, but it was somewhere between twenty and a million times.
  4. Oh come on now. You're clearly getting this confused with 'getting out of bed at the beginning of Zelda LttP'.
  5. Yep, I think collecting all stickers will be the last thing I do with the game as well. What was your method for getting all the random trophies?
  6. I got the 'King of Red Lions' trophy after 1500 coins spent on the Coin Launcher. The only trophies I now have left to get are: Mizzo - Random Falco (Assault) - Random Stickers - Collect All Stickers
  7. Pretty much what Deathborn said. This FAQ tells you where to find each enemy: Brawl FAQ Don't forget that as soon as you get the trophy, you can press Start and quit the level there and then and you'll still have it. The hardest one was Meta Ridley which took me hours to get simply because he hovers above thin air for most of the time. Hitting him with the trophy stand isn't too hard, but it usually falls off the bottom of the stage. I got lucky and hit him whilst he was flying above the ship.
  8. So from now on, if I find a bug in a Sega game that wipes my game save containing weeks-of-accumulated-progress, I can come on here and have someone to blame? Excellent! Congratulations Jamba. 'I can't believe they're paying me to do this'.
  9. I got the random 'Key' trophy from the Coin Launcher after only a couple of hundred coins which was nice. 4 more trophies to get! Go me
  10. That was very nicely written and I agree with almost everything you said. I wouldn't say there was a large amount which is bad though. The online is the worst thing in the game, but I have found tons of other things to keep me occupied for a very long time. The good far outweigh the bad IMO. p.s. It's also annoying that there are only five generic target smash levels instead of one for each character. Or the video replays.
  11. Hehe. I laughed at that bit. I'm a Wii-only owner, so this games looks good to me. If I was a 360 owner, I'd probably be thinking something like 'Gah, not ANOTHER one'.
  12. On the Coin Launcher, make sure you shoot all the enemies, which apparently gives you a greater chance of getting a new trophy. It therefore stands to reason that the more coins you have to play with, the better. I always make sure I have at least 1000 coins before having a go. You can do the 15-minute multi-man brawl either the conventional way, or the cheaty way by using a character that can fly underneath the stage from one edge to the other, thereby avoiding the alloys. Pit, Kirby, Metaknight etc... There is no cheap way of completing 100 man brawl with all characters though.

    Sadness

Haha, great vid. Either it's real or it's a great hoax. Either way I'm lovin' it.
  14. Yep! All 290 of them. That was a tall order too. Well done - nice to see someone else doing a collectathon. It's really not necessary to use a Golden Hammer on the 20/50/100 hours of brawls challenges. They are counted as combined time with all players. For example, if you plugged four controllers in and played a 4-player brawl for 25 hours, then you'd achieve 100 hours of brawls and unlock all three challenges.
  15. For random trophies, yes, by playing the Coin Launcher. The Dojo once said that you have a greater chance of getting a new trophy the more enemies you shoot down, so this is why I'm using the Coin Launcher. Another method is to play the SSE Skyworld level with Yoshi and get two trophies at the start of the level and keep retrying, but I think your chances of getting a new trophy stay the same throughout using this method. The problem is getting enough coins. I used to have over 5000, but I'm now in a cycle where I have to amass coins for an hour and then have a go at getting a new trophy until all coins are exhausted. It's a bit tedious, but I'm keen to finish the game 100%.
  16. Got the 'Hydra' trophy last night. Just 5 trophies left to get! *Wonders if these trophy updates are annoying anyone yet*
  17. I now have the 'Kat & Ana' and 'Jameson and A.I.R.S' trophies. Just 6 more to go. Man, why didn't they let you trade trophies with friends? At least the random ones.
  18. Cool. It's good fun with a second player, and they don't need to know anything other than 'Aim, shoot and reload'. It's one of those games I keep meaning to come back to. Getting to Level 99 would be my aim.
  19. Tons of stuff to play: Smash Brawl (8 trophies left to get) Shining in the Darkness Phoenix Wright 4 Final Fantasy VI, VII GTA: San Andreas God of War There's just too much to play and not enough time. Which is fantastic.
  20. Cool. Is there a special trick to doing these? Or is it just a direction on the D-pad like a regular taunt? I've now got just 8 more trophies to get.
  21. There was also the time he said he'd taken up gardening at home. Several months later, Pikmin was born. Makes you wonder what he was up to when he conceived the game that introduced power-up mushrooms...
  22. I would, but I'd like to give everyone else at least a chance to win a match. Ahem, but seriously, I was tempted to join, but I don't have many free evenings. I have so many other games demanding attention at the moment too. Lame excuses I know.
  23. Yep, I remember someone telling me the Saturn was the ultimate machine for sprite handling. Guardian Heroes was great. Dragon Force was another good example.
