Oxigen, I voted for Colin Firth cause I enjoyed his performance/thought it was "best" from those I'd seen (which isn't all the films). I'm so dubious though.

I love. Seeing my sister having had a few drinks for the first time. She's one of the funniest people I know. They grow up so fast. Reminds me of my "Innocence Lost!!!! I'm Terri." phase of 2008. MY personal choices, were I the Academy: Best Picture - I enjoyed all the ones I saw from this list, but only Black Swan and Toy Story feel worthy of the this title. And I feel like Toy Story 3 winning would blow my mind. If not that, then Black Swan. Best Director - I've not listed Social Network anywhere else on this list, so maybe it should win this. Either Fincher or Aronofsky, in any case. Best Actor - Colin Firth Best Actress - Natalie Portman (by default) Best Supporting Actor - Christian Bale Best Supporting Actress - Melissa Leo Best Animated Film - I would auto-choose TS3, but if it wo Best Picture, I would give it to The Illusionist. Best Visual Effects - Inception Best Cinematography - Black Swan Best Costume Design - I Am Love (for the lulz) That said, some of the nominees in the latter categories (and other non-stun categories) are whack.

Since my phone is atrocious (it just hangs up on people), I decided (inspired by Chair) to impulse buy an iPhone. Only to find out that were I to do that (I'd change from O2 to 3), I'd mess up my family's magically cheap contract thing, meaning I'd no longer get free calls to my famille, and vice versa. *sigh* I'm going to buy a record player soon I think. But might wait until after the summer when I'm in a new flat.

It might just be my internet, but yeah Pobearian and the last image won't load. ALSO I think Femury should look more unique. It just looks like an uber-cubone. I feel like a third evolutionary form should have the skull more developed, like someone said, perhaps a Tricatops, or otherwise more regal? Marowak is stunning because it's so sleek in comparison to Cubone. Going back to the scrappiness of Cubone seems reductive. [/nitpick]

It's still the same film though... My friend said the same, I watched it and was like "...". The playground scene still exists, the acting is the same etc. There's maybe a bit more to flesh out certain parts of it, but it really doesn't make it suddenly brilliant. Strangely the sex scene is taken out.
