Oh I've not seen the last episode yet. Yeah I watched this from the start. I enjoyed, after first being a little bit "...". I had to get into it, and realise it wasn't Green Wing 2.0 (since the prescence of Stephen Mangan or whatever and Tamsin Grieg akways evoke their GW characters), but it's been enjoyable.

It also feels aurally within the same ballpark as the original, which is hardly bubblegum pop or anything. (original is also better mumble mumble)

Found a brilliant (i.e great designs) T-shirt shop on eBay, just bought a t-shirt with Grace Jones' face from this album cover on the front: £14 Got loads of artists I love...I need.

S.C.G, EEVIL just praised Nightwish in the same post as dissing Kate Bush. There's something so irreparably wrong here that's there's no use commenting.

If anyone DARES bring Nightwish's disgusting covers of Kate Bush in here I will personally stab them in the gut. Repeatedly. -- I do sometimes like listening to those "Rock remixes" people do on Youtube, but they're usually not very good/don't work. Covers are obvious better in that they rearrange the song. Only one I can think of off the top of my head is Kelly Osbourne's "rock" cover of Papa Don't Preach, which I had the cassette of back in the day. Obviousy the original is far superior.

With action figures especially, I think it's the fact they're marketed at boys, so they figure male action figures will sell better to boys. I remember the most obvious example of this was with a series of Fantastic Four toys (might've been for the movie? Or maybe the cartoon years before), where instead of incuding Invisible Woman (as a character concept there's already questionable whiffs coming from that powerset in relation to her gender, if you care to explore that issue) in the first series, they put in another version of The Thing.

I had the squid one too! Jonnas, you're like my spiritual toy twin. I remember being really ambivalent towards it though, I barely saw the TV show and it was the only figure I had from BW. I felt like it had no context.

My Need for that is great. --- Today's sole purchase: When I'm hungover from being completely smashed, I can only stomach fast food, and only after hours of not eating. McDonalds is more ideal, but it was too far/a friend of mine was going to be in the same McDonalds with his old friend and it would have been awkward both to sit by myself eating McDonalds, or join them. I actually wanted Fish and Chips, but it was closed. This sufficed. MMMM. I very rarely have KFC. I dislike the greasiness of fingering the big chicken bits lel, but popcorn chicken is fine.

Hmm. There're some nice visual bits in there, but I hate the start, the over-reliance on seizure-inducing text and lights, and the fact you just know it was filmed in one day/an afternoon.

For some reason I was really underwhelmed. I posted my thoughts in another thread because I couldn't remember if this one existed or not. It just left me with so incredibly little. It was all good.
