  1. Hopefully other gender-based shite will be eroded soon too, like clubs being free/cheaper for girls before a certain time etc. That pisses me off. It's quality not quantity cuntz. Let the right one in. (I love that Quality Cuntz could be a shop name)
  2. (The twitter exchange actually continues, with Rihanna going "Oh, let's make-up, you know I love you" or whatever, implying what she said before was sarcasm (even if it wasn't). Ciara is then all like "Oh yeah of course, sure you just were in a bad mood that night hahaha" clearly really confused/terrified she actually had missed sarcasm. :laughing" Prety sure Rihanna was just genuinely pwning a bitch, no sarcasm intended, then decided to make Ciara feel even more awkward. Yes.)
  3. I think it's cause the reflection is the same size as the standing figure, when it "should be" shorter, as he's sitting down.
  4. Hangover is overrated. I liked it though. It was good. I'm ambivalent about this sequel. I would bet I won't end up seeing it in the cinema, since I never see comedies.

Yeah, clearly aware of major cultural identity issues the Lebanese (as a whole) were facing that the rest of the world didn't notice. The Orient similarly must have needed ressurance.
  6. I think I've only ever played Ring of Fire. Which can be great. Oh, except for one to do with stacking amounts of alcohol you have to drink or something - was the cause of my first "wasted" experience (as I'm sure Chair will recall. :x )
  7. Made my night - First, watch this: AMAZING. Rihanna is such a Queen of Life. Both comebacks -

I quite liked how (relatively) pared back that video is. Some lovely visuals from Nick "I directed Pagan Poetry for Bjork and so am a King of Life" Knight. She looked like she didn't really know what she was meant to be doing whilst she was dancing though. I like these prosthetic things she wears. I love/find it amusing how her visuals are so much more compelling than her music. "You're Lebanese, you're orient...life's disabilities..."
  9. Thing is though, it's still Beyonce, so it looks stunning. It's when that hairstyle is on "goth" girls with black hair and pale skin that it looks REALLY hideous. Isn't it the Bettie Page hairstyle from the early 1900's? On stunning people/entertainers it looks fine, since it's kinda...strange and part of a costume. I actually wrote a post about Jessie J's fringe right after Coolness posted (but then never posted), but then I had conflicting feelings. I don't like it. I think.
  10. It didn't look real. I assume it all is, it just didn't look like it. Which is quite strange. They all seem weightless. The editing annoyed me. It was technically skilled editing, but so eye-shredding.
  11. Social Network's score was better than Inception's. I liked Inception's too though. Black Swan should have been nominated for something sound-related too.
  12. I can't find Disc 2 of Six Feet Under Season 1!!!!! I feel awful. I DON'T misplace DVD's. I must have taken it out to put Drake's album on my laptop, but...where would I have put it? Only right beside me, or back in it's case. I've slept in my bed twice since it would have been on my bed! AGH! *imagines it broken into pieces, scattered around my room* I feel sick. EDIT: EVERYONE CALM DOWN. It was in my Big Mac all along.
  13. I'm crying light in anticipation. WHICH VERSION SHOULD I GET?! I'll get black I think. Serebii which do you prefer?
  14. ^ He was just incredibly elderly and couldn't really speak properly. Meaning everything he said/every joke he tried to tell was of course loved by everyone there. Kept making passes at Anne Hathaway. He could barely say Melissa Leo's name. I don't see what was wrong with her speech. Or her dress...who the fuck cares?
  15. My stream blew up, but seems the results were a bit "..." anyway. Blah at King's Speech winning Best Director....ew. And Inception won 3 Oscars last night, Danny, more than I think it would have been expected to win! :p It just feels so random...King's Speech isn't at all "special". It's better than a lot of "similar" movies I guess, but...no. OH WELL.
  16. Watching it live now. Will update in SPOILERS.
  17. Oh fuck's sake...isn't the Vigilant Citizen the site that claims every entertainer ever is a puppet of the Illuminati? RIHANNA VISUALLY SUGGESTS BONDAGEEE AND THERE'S A PYRAMID SHAPE IN THE VIDEO ARGH A CLOSE UP OF AN EYEEEE! Fdjg djd No she just wants to look attractive and edgy to sell albums you absolute fool.

Sometimes I wish you weren't so awful. I don't see how chatting shit about blood and semen in perfume bottles is "off in the head". Artists have been doing this shyt forever. Lady GaGa is just using the mild controversy from when people like Mark Quinn produced his blood head thing(among others, but first that came to mind), and transferring it to her character. It gets her press. It makes her more interesting. Can we all just deal with it? She's not putting semen and blood in YOUR perfume bottles, fucks sake! Of course, though, the reactions you're all having is the intention. I think she's incredibly worthwhile having around for this exact reason. I believe her a little bit when she speaks crap - which is brilliant! She's making the music she wants, on her terms, is having fun with it, going about her career exactly how she wants to (as far as I can see). She doesn't wear prosthetic spikes because she's insane. No one accuses metal/whatever bands who dress up in characters as being mentally ill. I hate defending things vehemently that I don't care vehementally about. I know, but then the same logic can be applied to almost every pop/rock star/entertainer. Katy Perry is fairly straight-laced in comparison, but if someone turned up to work in a blue wig with cream spraying from their tits, they'd be looked upon strangely too, lol. Again, think of any pop or rock singer to EVER dress up or act unusually as part of their act...people usually don't emulate them directly, nor are they expected to. "Showbusiness" is not reality, it never has been. It's all about putting on a show...dressing up, larger than life etc. I think nowadays the public wants their celebrities to be completely human and full of flaws and for us to know every intricate detail of their private lives. Thank god Lady GaGa is a complete construct.

I'm seriously beginning to doubt the intelligence/whatever of people who think she is genuinely "crazy"/"insane"/"a nutjob", based on the character she creates to sell her records to the general public. It's a bit like calling an actor crazy based on their portrayal of a crazy character. Genuine mental instability and money-making machines do not go together well. If her record company had a mental patient on their hands, they would do everything to cover it over, or completely disown her. She's a smart woman who's created an incredibly successful character (Lady Gaga) to sell her records and keep her name in the press, without REALLY jeopardising her own true identity. This would work better in a world without internet/extreme gossip mags etc, but yeah. Her actions suggest the complete opposite of mental instabilty. Good lord.
  20. My Pokemon game history - Red. This was my Pokemon game. My uncle then picked me up Yellow from the US. I loved. I got Blue a few years later by trading some shitty warhammer for it. But EFFECTIVELY I had Red. Then I only got Crystal of Gen II. I got none from Gen III, except a fake/faulty Sapphire 2 years ago. Diamond and Platinum from Gen IV. So I've had 2 of the "first" games, and two of the "Remix" games. I could buck the trend and get White, since white is such a stunning colour and more uo my alley, but I remember checking the differences between the two, and Black had the cooler things in comparison. :/
  21. I can think of far more daring things to do with a Wii remote than dangle it in front of people's faces.
  22. I've had them on my list for years, but have been putting them off for years. One day I'll listen to them. I realised I had No Cars Go on my iTunes, and was completely unmoved. It was very out of context though.
  23. I watched The Illusionist in the exact cinema in Edinburgh the main character walks into during the film. Such a surreal experience. Sitting in a screen, watching this animated character existing in the "same" place.
