I really have to see the Star Wars films again, I remember virtually nothing apart from the gist of the storyline. I saw the trailer (wasn't impressed), plus the big poster of Anakin in cinemas looks like an average-quality Nintendo DS graphic.

I agree with Dan on many points, but I don't think people are stupid to enjoy films that are a bit rubbish. Presumably they're comedies or whatever..pocorn flicks. I love beautiful or stylistic films, ones that are justifiably called art in motion. However, I've watched X-Men 3 (Also by Brett Ratner) a few times, and enjoyed it for what it was. Sure it perturbs me, as a massive X-Men fan, but that same token, I enjoy it. It's not as good as The Dark Knight (within Comic films). Nor is it as good as Aliens or Terminator. (By any stretch of the imagination) I believe pure enjoyment is different (and should be kept apart) from how good a film actually is. Sure, I get enjoyment from a film because it's good, but not always. (Depends of genre/content of film, really) Also, I do not believe every film is made to compete with some kind of "art world" of films. Of course, by their very nature, films are an art form, capturing movement and excitement through different camera angles and such, but for example, "Hard Candy" is a much more artistically credible film than Iron Man. Hard Candy uses different colours to slightly tint the image at different points during the film to capture moods, only 3 actors in it creates tension, etc. Iron Man is an enjoyable and slickly made film, but doesn't compare in beauty. However, I could guarantee that a lot of people would enjoy Iron Man more than Hard Candy.

I wouldn't put my worst result at the bottom, because they'll look down the list and the last thing they'll see is that 3 in French. I'd put it in the middle, so it doesn't stand out as much. Just my opinion though. EDIT: This is Chairdriver at Paj's house, BTW.

*claps* To be fair to all, Oxigen is a bit good when it comes to having opinions.

I sent mine late, but at least I did it. D-Day should have got my 2 CD's by now.

It'd make more sense not having those 3 really evil villains there, but yeah. They're very cool, and it's strangely amazing how they actually remind me of the original characters a lot. 9Except Wolvey and Carnage)

Terminator is so very eighties too. Though I suppose that's really only in the style/setting, rather than script. Eh, he's the best child in a role like that I can think of.

Oh, I have to add, I hate kids who are main characters in action films. However, I think Edward Furlong is great in T2, probably because he's believable. I dunno, I would normally find him annoying, but I don't.

I think it's a sign of the rise of the machines.

I saw it twice in 3 days. Much more satisfying viewing the second time round, things were clearer. (Still gave it 10/10 after first viewing)

*shrieks slightly* Lord. I was just coming here to post my review of T2: Judgement Day, to which I give 10/10, the same I'd give to Terminator. I feel the winds of destiny change, let me tell you that. But yeah, both are two of my favourite films ever. I can never decide which I prefer; It's like comparing Alien to Aliens. EDIT: Hair-wise, I think Sarah's change of hair from one film to the next is important and noticeable for a reason.

Just heard that song everyone loves by Noah And The Whale, and no one warned me that the amazing Laura Marling was in it/a guest vocalist! I love her/them now.

I would happily kill him and the other "leaders" within his little gang. Not the young ones, they can be saved. And that Lousi Theroux doc on them showed that even the teen daughter showed signs of vulnerability to being something resembling human.

Went to the hygienist, which I love, as I love the super-powered polishing thing that tastes like orange-flavoured sugar they use on my teeth. Told to floss. Made to see Make It Happen with sibling + her friend. Bought Terminator : The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Never seen any of it, and I love the Terminator series.

Make It Happen Had to take my sister and her friend to this. Typical, harmless film, though at least it more interestingly about multiple types of dancing. I prefer watching burlesque-style dancers to hip-hop, though that was nice too. Run of the mill harmless fluff. I kinda have no opinion on it. It was a bit rubbish at the end. *shrugs*/10

Your hair looks better than usual in the first one. And you look like a strange version of Russel Brand. Maybe that's just me.

Well what part of Gotham other than the narrows had a "personality" in Begins? Arguably Wayne Manor, but it's not like that was an integral part.

Yup. To reply to ReZ, Gotham isn't all narrows. The Dark Knight is one chapter of Batman's career, set over a relatively short time (a few days, isn't it?). So trailing the Joker doesn't reach the Narrows? So what? I've already said what I think of the city change, similar to Dan's analysis. Remember last time they tried to make Gotham City (the main part of it) unique? In Batman + Robin, there were impossibly huge statues intertwining with buildings. Frankly, I might have died of claustrophobia and blindness had most of The Dark Knight taken place in the Narrow at night. Joker as a metaphor isn't claustrophobic...his plans were for all of Gotham. Sure Ra's/Scarecrows were too, but they never reached Wayne Tower, remember. But yeah, the fact it's set during the day represents Dent, as Dan said, in essence. Remember that it ended at night...?
