Someone fairly prominent on the other (and first) BIG forum I refrequent, HCRealms, has just passed away. Made worse by the fact one of the last threads he posted was about his leg being fractured, and being stranded in the snowy wilderness where he lived (cut off from everything), and the fact with no insurance, he couldn't pay for it. He said it he wished he'd just died rather than been so helpless. He died from complications arising from surgery, and with no insurance, he couldn't do anything about it...

The tail is such an awkward thing though...if you imagine it, it would look really strange. I always like the Eric Larsen version of Scorpion, as his art made Scorpion's tail/Ock's tentacles really animate. Thin, but everywhere, all the time, ripping shit up. That could be too reminiscent of Ock in the movies though. Ones they shouldn't do; Carnage Morbius Hydro-Man I'm up for a decent Kraven, but I don't think Mysterio would work.

Continuing my David Lynch discovery/love; Twin Peaks Season 1: Pilot and Episodes 1 + 2 Unbelievably lovely. I can see why this is relatively famous today...it must have been pretty strange back then. Awesome though. Kyle Maclachlan is very funny in parts.- 3920 replies

I say stick with Electro/Vulture...ANYONE that could feasibly be done well.

That's good too, but nothing onthe first one, it must be said...except the bit; *guy lying in a desert* "Oh lord...why have you forsaken me?" IF GOD GIVES YOU LEMONS GET A NEW GOD!

Oh god no. The fact they introduced the symbiote in possibly the worst poosible way they could have (i.e no explanation) means they should stay away form anything else alien/supernatural/paranormal. Seriously.

Coolio mendoza. It's just that I can't imagine my A-Level English teachers being members of N-Europe! You could bring a youthful spark to the subject.

Oh yeah, sorry! I get threads mixed up and stuff...I felt that in Letty's Case I was helping out, but now I'm just intruding, turning it into Image Gallery etc. *dons exact same detective outfit as Eenuh, only in the opposite colour, setting up a rival agency, Paj Meen Ah's Problem Solving Purple People Police*

Oh wow, so are you like...qualified to teach A-Level English and stuff? I can feel a clap forming between my hands.

Never go shorter than that. It could do with being longer in any case (still being a short style).

Sure it's been posted before, but this is one of the few Net-craze things I actually find hilarious; POWERTHIRST! Sports! AGGGGGGGGGGGGGH!

Ooh polls. I love it. I dunno...surely Ashley will just do it anyway..? (Merge them all together) I don't really mind.

I always liked that Miss Independent never really was hip-hop or pop/rock...it was kinda meld of both. The bass/beat is kinda hip-hoppy, but the rest is defintely elsewhere.

Not treading on Ine's Investigations here, but as a student applying for art, I've got it on good advice (the head of admissions for Edinburgh College of Art) that original statements are the way to go. I wrote a pretty good one that many school teachers liked, but worried that it was so like a piece of cxreative writing it might go down badly. But alas no! So be original!

Thanks, S.C.G! In compliance with Ashley (and possibly other mods/staff too), it's all gonna be merged into 2 threads (IIRC); one big voting/match one...which could be tricky to navigate, and only allow for one match at a time really. (Maybe not) And the na discussion thread/results thread.

Behind These Hazel Eyes is one of her best, definitely. Because Of You is ok...but not that good. Looking at the 2 (her previous 2) albums I have from her, I'd say her best is; Behind These Hazel Eyes Addicted You Found Me Hear Me Miss Independent Never Again One Minute Sober Judas Haunted

My sister and mum were seriously ill this holiday (hospital involved etc) with pneumonia (the mild version), and they were both on steroids. It should help, but in my experience, isn't a miracle cure in all cases.

My December had artistic value as it famously was what she wanted to put out, much "darker" and exclusively rock-based. It's kinda hard to listen through the whole thing I've found, but I remember really liking it when it first came out. Don't really care about her new pop stuff atm.

That's true actually. I can't deny it though; the best could still be the original; "How Come You're So Solid Gold?"
