Yeah, the film successfully makes the story accessible for attentive filmgoers. My friend who knew nothing about it beforehand loved it and understood it.

I hate my digital camera. It eats away battery life unbelievably fast, so I have to use rechargable ones. Every photo is more likely than not going to be fuzzy, for whatever reason. Is that based on exposure time? Well it has none. You have to stand perfectly still (impossible) to get good ones. Or rest it on something. If I hook it up to my computer, the battery suddenly runs out...

Well I've enjoyed every other Shakespeare play I've studied. I don't know why we couldn't just do one of them... (Romeo & Juliet, Twelfth Night, THe Tempest and Hamlet being the ones I loved)

Well my shirt and tie and trousers form a suit by definition. A suit doesn't have to have a jacket attached. Just our common conception of a suit/lounge suit.... *clutching at straws*

Technically it is a suit. Defining a suit. Just not a 3-piece one. :awesome:

Yes. Can I be in it? ---- OK day. Long arduous Henry V rehearsal. I look awful in my costumes. *yay* I don't suit suits. Especially suits without jackets. I was told to sort my hair out (cut it) for the shows. Yeah right. I might dye it blond and just have it straight. Yeah. Play looks really boring atm. Hope it works on the night. Watched 3 epis of BSG. My favourite thing ever.

I think Just Can't Get Enough is better than Flo Rida, but I find myself abnormally attracted to them both. (Since I dislike everything I've heard from both parties) ---- Paj's Pitch Perfect Picks Cannot recommend this enough. This is in my favourite songs ever. It's just astounding. The lyrics, the atmosphere of gentle, haunting, creeping sexual awakening vs. upbringing is perfect. (Icicle - Tori Amos) If you didn't like what you heard of her in the MUSIC WARZ!, don't be out off, she's the most versatile artists I know of.

Good lord was that bad. It wasn't funny in any sense of the word. ---- I liked that Ricky Gervais video Jimbob. For some reason I find him alternatively charming and off-putting.

Portishead are absolutely amazing. Brilliant music, made brilliantly. --- I found that KoRn song to be one of the blandest and derivitive things I've ever heard, and derived no enjoyment from. I'd have preferred if it was just instrumental.

Ok, I'll wait. Or maybe buy it now/watch it later, whatever.

Skipped past every reply in this thread to ask this; Can I buy Battlestar Galactica: Razor now? As I've just watched the episode where the foetal blood cured Roslins cancer. And from what I've read, Razor is set during the brief period of Admiral Cain's control over the fleet. Will it ruihn anything I haven't seen/reference stuff..?
-
I enjoyed that.
-
Oh yes. IIRC, that image is recurring throughout, with the blood seeping lower etc.?
-
- Why have you got the Image logo on it? Get rid of that, add your own one. Otherwise it looks amateurish/fanboysih etc. - The title needs to be bigger I think. - Why is Wolverine on the cover? :p No it's nicely done. (the drawing) If a little flat. I like the actual linework though. Just needs more dynamism. And a bit more tension in the magicked gun shots. I like the colour though. And the bar works along the side, just change company.

I don't remember that bit in the book. I suppose in that case we must seperate the comic ending and the movie ending completely, not just in terms of how the people died, as I feel in the movie, the diary wouldn't have that much of an effect, whereas evidently, this is not the case in the comic.

Veidt is like an interesting version of Ra's Al Ghul. Eradication of a few = Unification/benefit of many. In lots of ways I agree with the outcome, as I don't see Rorscach's diary affecting much of anything in the long run. Everyone's happy la la. Of course, it's wrong technically. But it's moral and ethically question that is lovely to ponder in any case. ----- The soundtrack was rubbish. None of the songs fitted. Except Dylan.

Battlestar Galactica Season 2 episodes 1-13 Why is this so fracking good? I jizz everytime I see it. So good. No low points (and from what I hear, there aren't in Season 3-4 either), just pure awesome storytelling/development. I love that it's more about politics and ethics than fighting/blasting etc. Where things like Star Wars falls flat on it's face. (Or at least, SW deals with those two boringly and badly) Great! /10- 3920 replies

I am tempted to watch Sex Drive to see if it gets funny at any point, maybe they just left the humour out of the trailer...but then I remember I have much better things I want to watch/spend my time on.

Pretty good party last night, at one of my best friends house. However, he went on about how it had to be smaller than last time, so no randoms he didn't know, and none of the year below except girls and the boyfriends of people in our year. Of course by 9.30 it ws flooded with year below and randoms. So when he decided to refuse people, it was actually people I'm friendly with, in our year that got told to leave. They just aren't in "the cool crew"... To be fair, had they been anyone else, they would have got told to leave too, but it was the fact that they were being told to leave when people he really didn't want to be there were. The sole girl in that group recently broke up with her boyfriend (i'm friendly with both), and has since been trying (successfulyly) to become "one of the girls" and still have her actual best friends in that group. So them not leaving a party that she wanted to be at to kinda further her evolution or whatever could be annoying for her. I went home with her in a taxi, she was prettt upset. Just a bit messy. Otherwise good party. Saved 3 girls who were trapped ina room after both handles had been broken off, and saw my former best friend for the first time in 3 years, after he was expelled.

Female artists seem to change their style after marriage/childbirth, it seems. (In many cases anyway) Fair enough, I say. It sounds bad, but Tori Amos was at her best after suffering 2 extremely traumatic miscarriages. After her daughter was born, she's not as good.

To be fair, I was naive when I saw them. It was my first real gig. I'd only seen S Club 7 and gone to Live 8 before that.

The fact it's different formats (The mainc comic, the news/book clippings and the pirate story) doesn't make it bad or hard to read.. --- I thought Silk Spectre was fine, as I was indifferent to her, just like I was in the book. I like that in the end, we don't really like any of the characters that much. I think they should have kept in Rorscachs comment about hating her costume though, s it would have made more sense in the film than it did in the book.

Surely it would work better/be more interesting if the options were just "grey, red, yellow" etc, and you had to put your definitive view of that colour in? Even then, quite boring.
-
Yeah but any decent person would do their own first, like I did, before posting it and looking at others. You aren't meant to look past the first post, so anyone who does deserves to have the game ruined.
-
Well who's looking at them before they've already done theirs? Everyone's colours are virtually the same anyway...
