Abnormally Attracted To Sin: Tori Amos Reveals Cover and Tracklist 1. 'Give' 2. 'Welcome to England' 3. 'Strong Black Vine' 4. 'Flavor' 5. 'Not Dying Today' 6. 'Maybe California' 7. 'Curtain Call' 8. 'Lady in Blue This is getting a bit of coverage due to the fact that each song comes with an accompanying silent movie. Looking foward to it, and I like the cover (thought it would be as bad as the last two covers) Still hate the album title though. Fine as a song title, but not as an album title. Any of the others would have suited more.

Yeah, Falling Down it is then. It's the one I'm most in the mood for, as I imagine the Scarlett Johanssen version of the Tom Waits song playing whenever I think about the DVD cover.

Considering I should hate them, I have to support them here. Those two are some of their blandest (...) they've done! I Don't Need A Man, I Hate This Part, Flirt, Beep etc are much better.

My to-watch pile stands at; Falling Down Run Lola Run A Beautiful Mind Stigmata I've not read the backs of any, though I know the very rough gists of Stigmata and Run Lola Run. I'm not really in the mood for a film like ABM either, I expect.. WHICH SHOULD I WATCH?!

Woolf screams at me with home truths. I have no desire to read Austen. I think I read Pride & Prejudice years ago, as I remember knowing the story exactly before I saw the Kiera Knightley film.

The mentally distured girl in English started yet another (very interesting and engaging) debate/arguement in class today, after one of her inane comments. This time about how she didn't understand why anyone would want to read "To The Lighthouse", as it's just insignificant events. Cue an explosion from all the other realistic students, who recognise it as fracking amazing. The teachers were a bit more open to discussion (shooting her down, but saying that it was good that she's brave enough to put her opinions across) The lesson was summed up with a quote one guy had noted down; I read Jane Austen to understand my friends, I read Virginia Woolf to understand myself. I clapped.

Thanks Oxigen, I liked what I heard from them. ---- Kelly Clarkson's new album is one of those completely satisfying pop/rock albums. Her new single is brilliant stuff for ears in need of some pure pop rock.

The backgrounds on that website are nice, but the gallery offers some very hit and miss pieces. A lot looks like mediocre action poses by an anime fangirl. Some is very nice though. (the subtler pieces)

I heard only good things about The Mae Shi. I have their Miley Cyrus cover, and that's it. (Free off Pitchfork) It's enjoyable.

Ah. Without the comma, it both means what I thought, and the exact opposite. You aren't a fan, just like most other comic fans and You aren't a fan, whereas most comic fans are. I assume the latter now.

I don't like that video, it doesn't really work that well, but I have to point out that it was performed after Britney Spears released that song. It was in support of American Life by Madonna, hence why it has her doing a current song (at the time) and the other two doing her older song.

Had it for a few years, and it's been sent back before. "Nothing wrong with it" I'm over it. I want a camera like a girl at school has...where the photos look like something from a catalogue or something. I assume it's actual film or whatever, rather than digital.

BSG Season 2 Epis 14-17 I actually clapped at the bar hostage episode. First that Katherine Mayfair from Desperate Housewives survived the Cylon attack on Caprica, second that it was a situation that could have been handled clichedly, but wasn't. I clapped so hard when I realised what they were going to do with the Sharon Trade deal thing. I like that they just killed every commander of Battlestar Pegasus until Lee got to command it. I really want to know what Ellen Tigh's deal is. ALSO I HATE HATE HATE HATE the opening credits. They spoil the whole episode, so I have to skip through them. Why on earth would they put bits from the episode I'm about to watch in it? Love/10
