X-Men I was in the mood, after researching the Statue Of Liberty for art. Not as good as the second one, but better than the third. Still the first "adult" film I saw at the cinema (yeah it's a 12, but I was 8 at the time, and wanted to see it so badly). And Famke is lovely. For whatever reason, for both times Magneto and Storm are floating, they're standing really awkwardly and uncool-ly. They just look stupid. Easily avoidable. 7.7/10

In music where shouting is often found, like a lot of metal, it usually sounds awful and ridiculous. But then so does a lot of metal. There is some good stuff out there I've heard though. Shout can work in normal music, but not just...random...shouts. More like an angrier way of singing something. Tori Amos is an example. It's built-up to though. Bjork too. But then her voice flows into the loud bits well, so it's fine.

I suppose I'll have to link to anywhere where a song can be heard. Or make the prerequisite of a nomination (in future) that there is a place easily accessible for all to hear it. Last.fm or Spotify or whatever...

I think they did Fantastic Four fine. It was either gonna be a light fun adventure thing (which both films are) or deadly serious, which would be harder to pull off with the subject material. Again, unless they just do the Ultimate Fantastic Four origin. More fims should use the ultimate titles as a base, they're far more grounded in reality.

I've not gone to a stadium gig since Gwen Stefani, but then the people I want to see are always more low-key and I prefer intimate settings anyway. I hate seats. The most pointless thing to have at a gig.

Falling Down Loved it. I love that in the end, what did he actually do seriously wrong, that wasn't some over-the-top version of self-defence/right to protect oneself or whatever? Questioning life/society. 8/10

The Katy Perry album isn't very good, because it has her singing all the songs. Lily Allen and Ladyhawke are quality though.
