  1. Express yourself, don't repress yourself.
  2. £60+ pounds for shoes I can accept but they look like bog standard white trainers. And that shirt must have been like...derived from Jason's golden fleece to justify being £70. It's the fact that there's also no aesthetic reaosn for these prices, too. If they had an AMAZING design or something. Really unique. I could see that the money would have spent on something cool and interesting. :/

  4. The zombie chicken just flew away!
  5. I just bled this chicken dry.
  6. I want to start losing weight (said that about 35 times in this thread). Gym just cuts into my time/ I can't be bothered after school, when all I want to do is go home and curl up into a ball. I want a rowing machine in my room. I know I'd use it.
  7. What? I don't understand? I typed in the "start of a sentence", being like "Why are you staring-", and nothing it brought up was funny.
  8. Went to Glasgow avec ma famille for a day of doing something. Bought lots of stuff, had a good time. However, I am baffled by how many truly fugly people per square kilometre Glasgow has. It's literally a revelation to see a genuinely good-looking person. Might be mean, but it's true. Even those that aren't ugly look grey and sad. I way prefer Edinburgh. People seem optimistic and cleaner of spirit.
  9. Family day trip to Glasgow! £18 + Some funky thin with red chunky bits bracelets. £5 (the braces) £5 3 Canvas Boards £16 or something (in a deal) Single white oil pastel £1.50 Sepia Sketching Pen £1.65 Astonishing Spider-Man £2.50
  10. I hate your lies with intent to provoke. I know your favourite is Roads anyway. I loved hearing Voice Inside My Head by Dixie Chicks in TGI Friday's today. A classic from when I first got iTunes.
  11. I have the overwhelming urge to sing Circle Of Life now. Not the shit Elton John version, the Carmen Twilie/Lebo.M classic.
  12. Odwin removed my epic signature, so I just used my feelings my signature. :awesome: Avatar; 6/10 It does it's job. Sig; 5/10 I dislike Zac Efron. He was ok in hairspray, but bleurgh in general. The same way I hate The Jonas Brothers and Hannah Montana (not miley i luv her!!!!). I'll border them for you if you want. EDIT; What about this; It doesn't have to be pink.
  13. I'm a Scot, but no one can tell.
  14. I believe in the power of love.
  15. Anyone who hasn't famialarised themselves with A Woman A Man Walked By by John Parish & Polly Jean Harvey is missing out on a truly engaging musical experience. They (she in particular) is always one to turn to for someone interesting and challenging. Urge everyone to listen. It's sort of jumping in at the deep end of of what they/she offers, but then it also serves as a sampler of what they/she can do. The title track and April are favourites atm. It's on Spotify, go listen!
  16. Who've I got to shag to get out of here alive? [/Tori Amos reference]
  17. Good luck/congrats and all that. I was wondering the other day, actually, if you'd got married yet or not.
  18. I was violently sick at the sudden shift in quality from atrocious to astounding. Tokio Hotel to Portishead. Brilliant. *wobbles off* But yeah, Tokio Hotel and (after having a go) The Veronicas are truly woeful. [/Conclusion for the day] Their second album is amazing. I might have told you this before...obviously cut from the same cloth as Dummy, but has a starker sense of darkness, which you can see in Third (though the two albums are very different). I like them all equally actually. I find I can listen to Third the whole way through more often (seems the opposite with most poeple..).
  19. I don't think I will. :p lol To be fair, after that post, it seems they actually decided to every (any) thing good after the first two (shit) songs. 'This something' was good. This Is How It Feels. That was the highlight. I didn't listen the whole way through. Back to School Of Seven Bells for me.
  20. Listening to Hook Me Up now (the album). Not promising, the looped violin bit in Untouched is so promising, as is one bit I remember, then it falls on it's fat ass. Actually kinda cringey. REALLY empty and flat. When they/she starts going "alalalala" as though that'd save the song, I screwed up my face. I like the single couplet resist you/miss you. My god what a mess. (Relative to what it could have been). I see how far I get into this album! :p
  21. This thread needs to closed like a clam.
  22. They aren't for me. I find them a bit dull. I have encountered them a couple of times throughout the years and keep being unimpressed. I am quite open-minded to electro-y stuff though. Maybe they have some hidden gems in the albums themselves. --- Polly Scattergood is playing at Sneaky Pete's here on the 13th...18's+ though. It doesn't say ID required, like it does for some other gigs, but I dunno how strict gigs are about age requirements. I could just buy the tickets, only £6, and it's not that big a deal if we don't get in, but still. For good measure;
  23. The albums have been on sale here for a bout a year (according to iTunes). I assume Haggis is referring to a push by their record label for success here.
  24. NINjA! edit
