    I listened to Erase and Rewind. It's more autotuned than a Britney Spears song, which is quite a triumph. Hot Mess was worse (as a song). She was the worst singer of the lot IIRC, anyway. --- So the Leaver's Ball is tonight, and there has been a HUGE debacle over the playlist, with the awesome half wanting super beats, really cool remixes and what not, like proper club atmosphere, and the other half wanting various Top 40 hits. Obviously I was on the side that wanted the amazing, unknown, interesting stuff, yet could understand that the appeal of having a tune everyone knows on. So i kinda wish I'd been in charge of the playlist (and taken suggestions from everyone), and melded the two 'tribes' together...as it is, I have no idea what's being played.

    The A-Level English Set dinner in the lovely house attached to the school tonight..was hilarious and great fun. Felt sorry for one guy who I'm friends with, but that doesn't feel very much a part of the main crowd of our set, who didn't say much the entire night. Sadly the amazing Mr.Meadows is still very ill, so we had 2 history teachers that do all the plays (and are english/drama teachers secretly) with us. Was just great fun and discussion. To sum up the night, i'll just say; Red wine. Col-by (Ga-GA!). Eh-ey. Oh. I've had a little bit too much. It was To The Lighthouse themed. Brilliantly quoting bits from the book at various points in the night. And when a girl who mubled a lot was suggesting what the pudding might be, as it was just named "The Lighthouse" on the menu, and mubled "like a giant cast" but it sounded like "giant cock". No one knew what to say for a split second, then just burast out laughing. And the fact the topic of conversation got round to Hedgehog Cunnilingus (sp?), at a meal with our teachers, was wonderous.

    I finished yesterday. However, there's not time to relax, with last week of school coming up/ my unwritten speech I was told to write/do, despite my literal speech impediment and lack of never having spoken (like this) in public. That's for tomorrow night.

    Oh my. Tbh, I'm not a fan. It sounds like a mixh-mash of anything I've ever heard in power metal (or whatever) and put into a machine that spits out a "metal/power rock/whatever this genre is" song except with a woman singing. It just doesn't seem veyr original. More just an everxie of athleticism (speedy guitar playing,screaming etc). But then that's a problem I have with a lot of "heavy rock/metal" whatevs. Or at least the stuff I'm recommended.

    Shut Up Amd Sing The fable of the Dixie Chicks atrocious fall from grace after sayng in a London concert "I'm ashamed the president is from texas". A very good documentary-film about the situation, spanning 2003-2006. Reminded me just how good the "comeback" album actually was. And I was genuinely on edge when she knew there was a death threat made against her. Maybe that's just me. Basically I hate american blind patriotism.

    Bear in mind Pokemon are really finicky to design, since you can pick out a shitly designed Pokemon from a mile away. Like that awful one from the last generation, like a purple and green swirl with a face. SHIT.
