Best ever. The video is arguably as essential in the appreciation of it as the song itself. The way it's edited is brilliant.

Ting Tings were surprisingly good live, when I saw them last year. Not so much a fan of the studio versions of any of their songs. --- In the battle of the Electronic Ladybots; La Roux> Little Boots> Ladyhawke

Oy at this thread. Watch like...any film about this thing, it paints in brightly and clearly.

This post is worthy of that Madonna gif I'm not allowed to use. So I'll just say; ...

Left school today/the big leaving ceremony was today. Yesterday was more emotional as this was really formal and stuff, but it's still very...weird. I'll never see a lot of people ever again. We all went down to the old rugby fields at the Junior School and drank for hours and hours, which was nice, the whole yeargroup, unified. It was great talking to the teachers without the "teaching facade" on, they harped on about how my yeargroup is really amazing (it is), just full of stunning people. My art teacher told me that the stuff of mine he put up in the exhibition he thought was really stunning. And the other art teacher who loves me said she was called in by the former art teacher to look at my life drawings, and she was really impressed. Main art teacher also said that in any other yeargroup, I would have won the art prize. Said bye to a lot of teachers I'm fond of, including the lady who had to teach my GCSE intermediate maths, in a class full of what may as well have been wild animals. I remember that she coped with the wild pupils (me not one of them) well, so I wanted to say thanks. That was nice of me, I thought. Also gave my D.T teacher flowers on my mums request, as said teacher rims me. Despite being a SHIT teacher. A friend was having people round tonight, but I feel ill (got a really sore throat last night/this morning, and then mixed with champagne/gin gave me a splitting headache and a strange pain in my calf). Sad to not go to the final thing of the year, but then I was with everyone worthwhile for like 5 hours this afternoon.

I knew you'd love it. It is pretty awesome. I need to listen to the second half more, as it's more sedate, but it's all gooooood. ---- I also am liking Regina Spektor's new album, Far. It's more Begin To Hope in terms of style than her earlier stuff, but there're some great melodies dotted around the place.

Haha! I genuinely didn't know that was her! Cool. I've heard good things about The Velvet Rope by her, and I liked the song where she samples Joni Mitchell. And her last hit was Feedback, wasn't it? That's pretty fun, in a trashy way.

Not really. --- What a shame, he's a legend. He's obviously been wuite ill for some time though.

I'm not a fan of ice lollies, really. I like Ice cream more. I love Magnums though. Except the caramelly ones.

Get a life. Just because she isn't a member of the Saturdays dressed in nothing but a paper towel doesn't make her bad. They've got to no.1 with a front woman who looks a bit like a lesbian, who isn't typically hot. Deal with it. Go watch transformers and jerk off to Megan Fox.

Also the colours are muted. Which is much nicer (IMO), in that design. -
I'm addicted to La Roux atm. The album is brilliant. If anyone here liked Little Boots' album, think that, but 10x better. bulLET PROOF

Last day of term today. Tomorrow is the "exhibition", ie the big leaving ceremony, then...the end. Fucking emotional. Me, chair and the third member of our group just went back to mine for a few hours cause as always this week, the morning was boring, and only just managed to get into the final assembly in time back at school. Wasn't expecting to be emotionally assaulted so much. Guys and girls in my year weeping and sobbing all around me, combined with the rousing "Lord of The Dance" brought a lump to my throat. Said mini-goodbyes, signing each other's clackens (the object we use to play Hailes), then walked back home. On the walk back, I kept being struck with huge pangs of extreme sadness. Like teary sadness. I didn't cry, but I might do tomorrow. I'm just....so happy to have been in the yeargroup I have. I've loved it. I was reading some of the comments on m yclacken while walking home and that made me all wobbly too. "Henry, you are TOO funny. (FUCK OFF!) I love you more than life itself, have an amazing year, I will visit you LOTS. Joanna xxx" for example, it'll mean nothing to anyone else, but it's so sad. Didn't anticipate I'd be this sad.

Dyson gets 2/10 from me. -
I started shaking while reading that. I want that film made, but not even because of the trion references. Just the soundtrack composed by Naomi Watts and and sung by Laura Dern. Revealing their talents. *writes all this down* Bear in mind I WILL be making brilliant films about human exchange in the future, and you WILL be seeing them in IMAXs all around the world. *leaves (a note)*

I can't get Bulletproof by La Roux out of my head. From the two songs of hers I heard, I already prefer her/them to Little Boots. (who seemed more hyped) This time baby I'll beeeeeee Bullet! Proof! EDIT: Just got the album, gonna give it a proper spin tomorrow. Genuinely excited.

Holy Crap, That's Not A Spider!, the searing new drama from Michael Bay. Oscar-Winners Nicole Kidman and Javier Bardem star as a disenchanted married couple who, after mistaking a deadly scarab beetle for a common house spider, must deal with the loss of their son to said beetle. With unparalelled cgi in the sole scene involving the scarab beetle, watch as the disintegration of a typical marriage in the 1950's is subtley portrayed by Bay shaking the camera. Next title; Tired Of Being Sexy 2: Return of Ms. Uudermeister from The Lizzie McGuire Movie.

AWESOME day. Playedt he traditional Hailes (a sport extinct except in my school) match between all the 7ths (leavers). It's fancy dress, I went as a "Girl from our sister school". Effectively extreme fake tan, white lips, disgusting blond hair, jack wills, abercrombie, the bag, the lot. Got a lot of good/funny feedback. Some of the costumes were hilarious. A one piece shocking pink body stocking for example. My team won! Then got our clackens (the wooden spoons you play Hailes with signed by everyone I love in my year), before leaving early (last week, no one cares if you're there or not) to go to a speech therapy meeting with a..speech..therapist. Literally insane. I need to cast her in my reboot of th X-men as a female Toad. Then I went to the impromptu gig of various bands in the final two years, it was interesting finally seeing chairdriver's band play something! They were musically pretty great, however, the lead singer was a bit too razorlight vocally for his own good. Then went home for chinese, before being convinced to join the masses in going to City, a chavvy nightclub everyone goes to just cause underage peeps can get in. I've avoided it almost ezxclusively, as the whole idea of waiting outside for literally hours to be part of some scheme to get into a shitty nightclub offends me. Did it for about half an hour, until chair and another complete joke from out year said we should just go to Cabaret Voltaire, where they actually play real music./good music. So we drank and danced. Then I went home.
