Dark X-men/Avengers Utopia 1 was ok. Not been reading much on the side though...but I'll pick up Uncanny to see what happens next. I kinda hate how Emma is too machiavellean. Hasn't she betrayed the team enough already? I do love the Dark Avengers though.

Coco Avant Chanel Eh. The actual events in this film don't justify a film, on retrospect. It plays like a FAR less good or important La Vie En Rose in terms of story. Very plain. The only times it really piqued my interest were when she made some bold fashion statement, and then the end bit. The rest is so very plain and dull. And it's not like they ever attempt to base her desire for more androgynous fashion choices in anything in her life, really. Eh. Stodgy and plainly nice./10

I beat the Elite Four without even planning to on Diamond today. Yay. Just been running through the first few to train up my Gabite/get money, and had no revives or anything. Fortuitously, Cynthia was shit tonight, and basically begged for me to whip her with my Luxray.

Carnation hair Dye. A lot of the front of my pink hair was bleached by the Berlin sun, back to the colour underneath, which was an unflattering bleached...sort of orange sorbet colour. So I got a new (different shade) pot to redye those bits. £3.95 £5

What is Game Freak's obsession with legendaries? 10 valuable spots in the 4th gen pokes were used up on pointless and badly explained legendary pokemon, and they're shoving the Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald trio in this one? Lord.

Chair and I played a game the other day, first in years. It's such a lovely gam though. I kinda hate how it can be really short. Could play with 30 prizes. I might buy a cheeky booster of the new ones. Allthough I have no dark or steel energy cards.

Considering it's been 70+ years, very little of much significance has happened to the major characters. Or rather, they remain mostly the same through everything. Most big events involve history being erased/rewritten.

This is what I was on about. Exactly. And I find Batman boring after a while, if there isn't some sortof outside force in play. (i.e a villain of some fashion) But then there are loads of different kinds of Batman stories, so this isn't always the case. Brand New Day smacked of shit, because Marvel isn't DC. I used the word timeless, because that's what DC characters are, they're in no particular time, don't have much prolonged development, before it's reset somehow. But in DC, that works. In Marvel, it's a lot more real, so BND was utter shit.

Probably the least anime anime out there, but I just started watching the Sinnoh saga of the Pokemon Anime from the start. I love how genuinely funny Team Rocket can be. I loved; Dawn: WHY ARE YOU ALWAYS TRYING TO KIDNAP PIKACHU?! Jessie:...Why are you a twerp? Really bad/deadpan comeback, but so appropriate.

Adaptation Brilliant! Didn't know a thing about it, so was even more surprised at the premise. Cage was strangely...good. I felt I could relate (in a minor way) to a lot of the themes. 9.7/10
