Well I just going in order of chapters. I have the Utopia one-off, then I should have got Uncanny 513, but missed it, then Dark Avengers 7, then Uncanny 514. I know there's a seperate Dark X-Men comic though.

Bumhole! Missed today's only showing on Antichrist at any cinemas in town, and I'm going to a book signing of Amanda palmer (the singer of Dresden Dolls) tomorrow during the showing of it then as well. Bums.

I got X-Men Forever 1, then realised I hated Claremont's modern writing mostly, and that the art was annoyingly nodescript. So I haven't read it since. -- I'm loving Utopia so far, although I couldn't get my hands on Chapter 2. Doesn't seem like much happened though, except, I assume, the team being introduced.

I'm not at all interested in him. I have 3 Little Words, but it leaves me dry. I sort of hoped he'd be good, as there's no mainstream-y male synthypoppy people around atm, in comparison to the deluge of females.

Ugh, no. If it makes up for it, I'm not angry or grumpy or anything in the morning. I'm fairly alert and friendly. I'm "a morning person." It's just like..."always the hours" - the feeling that the waiting is in fact minutes spent doing nothing that will further my life in any way. Or at least keep me preoccupied with an activity I enjoy. It's like negative space. I feel like it's minutes of my life seeping away into nothingness, staring out the window waiting for coffee to be palatable, when I could be relishing the twang of cold orange/apple juice or milk, and a quickly-acquired breakfast...dish. Those moments in life that really annoy me, when I'm neither doing anything useful, or legitimately relaxing. I'm scared. Hold my hand as I'm lowered.

I hate the effort. It's like how I hate the idea of having to have toast instead of my usual Croissant/Pain au chocolat in the morning. I love toast, but the AGONIZING WAIT for it to toast. And it never toasts fully/properly, so you have to do it again. Then the spreading of the butter/jam/whatever. Aeon. And then the actual eating is over so quickly. No. Fruit juice (quick, easy, energizing and lovely and cool) and some sort of premade pasty for me in the morning is ideal. (Unless someone else is making me a big breakfast like bacon rolls or pancakes or something, then it's ok, since I just flop in a chair until I'm fed)

Driloon/Drifblim is one of the few that I actually genuinely would rank among the best Pokemon, design/execution wise. It's shitfaces like Stunky/Skuntank and the LAZY LAZY legendaries (14 in the 14th generation...fuck me!) that are bringing it down. No one except n00bs creams themselves over legendaries.

That reminded me why I hardly ever have tea/coffee. I never understand why it has to be so hot. Do you jsut leave it until it cools down? Or what? I don't get it. Cause when it cools, it cools super fast, so if you miss the margin, it's freezing piss. I don't get the appeal of the tension in working out how and when to drink it, especially in the morning. Fruit juice in the morning FTW.

I'm still reeling from the quality of Love.Angel.Music.Baby by Gwen Stefani, 5 years (!) after it's release. So few pure pop albums are as satisfying, witty, well-written, sexy, funny and entertaining. The follow-up album was a major dip in quality, but has it's merits too. But it's a lot more tryhard.

Oh fine. I just loved her as a character. What I wished the girl who lived with me was like. === I adore how Matt Fraction writes realistic battle dialogue. No long monologues that make no sense in the sense of the time it would take to say them and what's going on in the page, just short sharp phrases. Lorelei, being sucked in Cloak's Cloak "No No no-" Cloak "Yes. Sorry." That's perfect.

Lovely day doing Edinburgh Fringe Festival things. Went to see Ginger & Black, they were funny, but I was underwhelmed after seeing them at a free taster of the comedy bits on offer thing the other day. Hilarious songs though. Then got free tickets to go see Stand By My Van, a show that was meant to be a reality TV show where the last contestant standing up with a hand on the big truck in the centre of the stage won. Pretty funny and very well acted. Actually tense as the clock went on past 70 hours! I loved seeing who went out and who didn't. Lovely for free.

Oh jesus christ. Please tell me Gwen isn't back in Ultimate Spidey? She died in Carnage for fucks sake, like years ago. Admittedly, it was a bullshit decision to kill her off, when she was, at the time, one of the best characters. I assume this is some clone?
