  1. It's more a word we use to replace other expletives/"Yes!"/"Cool!" etc. Just imagine Jack Sparrow saying it when reading 7. Getting so much lovely satisfaction from it.
  2. Nice to know people actively don't listen to music because it's recommended by a small bunch of us. That makes this thread worthwhile. But anyway, good to see another fan.
  3. Probably true to be fair. I just cannot fathom Catholicism. It's the exact same God, same Jesus. Can't people just have faith, rather than having to join the club to do so?
  4. Apparently so. Aren't those two points the only two main ones that differe between the main two denomonations?
  5. What about the details like contraception being a product of hellfire and such? Obviously you'll like the Pope, and follow everything he says. Because he's the voice of God?
  6. Raining! You seem to have such bad luck. Sorry to hear about your flu...although, to me at least, I feel the chills of winter approaching, so I anticipate illness heading my way too.
  7. Why Catholic instead of Protestant? Was it a personal choice?
  8. Isn't that a fundamental part of the Smith/Burton concept? And I thought the suit looked fine in Superman Returns.
  9. 3 issues is nothing. 7 is the first "LOVELY!" one, and then it gets good.

When the FUCK did your avatar get a border, Molly?

    I'm aghast/pleased. *claps politely, but in a semi-patronising fashion*

  11. "Get me a Vodka on the rocks!" "Mom, it's breakfast." "And a piece of toast."
  12. Get out of town.
  13. No, he means Volta by Bjork. I should get around to listening to The Mars Volta though. They're on my "list".
  14. Ancestors? It's amazing. That whole album is arguably her greatest acheivement, the fact it's ALL vocals/voices, with I think one bit of piano in Ancestors, and a musical loop in Desired Constellation. So good.
  15. Chair and you will get along well. There's the debate that by not lynching anyone, we are basically giving the mafia a free kill tonight, when we may as well try. But then of couse, having NO information yet, it would literally be a stab in the dark, which will more likely harm us (more likely to get a townie than a mafia member). But tbh, I'm gonna Vote: No Lynch I'd rather games started at night.
  16. "I've got some bad news" *gasps* "...It's me, Gene Parmajan!" "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA you got me again! Ha ha!" "But I did hear he was bleeding internally" "..." I just love. And the continuing saga that is Anne McNoface.
  17. Just finished season 1 of Arrested Development, so fucking awesome. I love them all. Especially Maeby's face. "He's been acting so weird since he started going out with that random girl. I mean, she barely has a face." Perfect
  18. Chair says you can start yours. He wants you to.
  19. I'm only half getting what you're saying. I think/know I have a perfectly fine moral code in general, and I'm not religious. The non-religious aren't running around not knowing right from wrong. That's not quite what you're saying, but I'm still unsure what you ARE saying. Other than what fish suggested, a "may as well" attitude.
  20. Wait...so people who don't believe in a higher power will never be in possession of "objective moral authority"? But you are?
  21. Who are the writers of the bible to say?
  22. What a dick. He forced me to stay in top-set French despite there obviously being some mistake in me being there the entire year (I cam top the year before in second set cause we had some insane Jamaican woman replace Mrs. Stark, and so no one except me listened), and he made me resit my oral exam in front of the class. Him: "Comment t'appelle tu?" Me:... *wtf* Him: *facepalm* "Just sit down." Obviously I knew how to answer what he said, but I was so used to the other way of asking I just sat there. Anyway. He was a dick.
  23. The Spirit I wanted to see this, despite knowing it wasn't supposed to be very good. And tbf, it wasn't. However, it had lots of bits that appeal to the weird humour of my friends and I, helped by Scarlett Johansson. Not great, but short and visually nice and entertaining at least. Felt funny. But realistically.../10
