  1. Dollhouse - Left Hand pt. 1 + 2 It stunned me. This and the one before, Belonging, have actually been brilliant. Which makes me so angry at Joss Whedon for not making this good earlier! The themes of the show that are so interesting but never really expressed themselves well really came though. Ideas of identity, memory = life or death etc. Summer Glau was awesome as the anti-Topher. 8.9/10
  2. Yes, if it was temporary, which you didn't stipulate it wasn't. Would you rather be a Heartless or a Nobody?
  3. Yeah. I put down a few Wii games and an expensive (like £30+) DVD box set, and a few CD's on my Xmas list that I showed my parents, but I don't expect them all. I put down things I wanted, and if it weren't chrsitmas, might have bought for myself, because I want them.
  4. Yes, of course. What's in a name? ... a rose by any other name is just as sweet... etc etc. If you were in a play that was being attended by some big industry players, and you and a a few other main cast members names were being batted about as possible signings/stars by said players, if at the last minute, they (non-descript, could just be your director, or was it the industry players...?) changed a scene to a nude scene, would you still go through with it?
  5. People have been complaining that GaGa (on her new tour) seems distant and undancey. But then I'd rather she sung well, and let her dancers do most of the dancing. So yeah, you're right raining. But you can dance as much as you want and most people will still be a bit "...". Shouldn't go into the topic AGAIN, but Britney does neither (sing or dance) often or well when on stage, which is just a bit shit really.
  6. As I predicted (stopped watching after Janet Jackson, shows how much I care about the actual contestants. Lady GaGa was good, not great. Not sure the song translate's that well live. Cool costume/set though. Janet was better, but I suspect she mimed.
  7. Fuck you for ruining my idea! :p To be fair, I realised I kinda need an idea of what the setting/story/idea behind it would be. I might be as vague as possible in what I note down tonight then talk to my tutors about it tomoz. Can't really do filming in class, but I can just go home/wherever would be appropriate. I need a stunning actress in it (at least my idea atm). I might need to call in a friend from school and tell her it'll make her a star or something.
  8. I think you mean
  9. I enjoy ReZ. He has tales to tell. But I never really got the whole "comedic genius! Woo!" title he seemed to have around here. (and elsewhere) No offenz.
  10. Recent Discoveries that have stuffed me with sawdust and diamonds; A Sunny Day In Glasgow - "Ashes Grammar" Janet Jackson - "The Velvet Rope" Sheila E. & The E-Train - "Writes of Passage" They all pushed me under the quicksand, but thankfully I was saved.
  11. I did laugh at that lyrics one Dazz. Saucy cod-piece Get me cod, please. and THIS OCTOPUS LET'S GIVE HIM BOOTS!
  12. i have plan my working week tonight, a small project spinning-off from my last one. I didn't finish my last project, and that was 4 weeks long, and I'm so bored of painting/drawing, as the idea of doing a bad drawing or painting terrifies me. I've done nothing of artistic worth for about 2 months, and need to get back on my game. I feel like my first 2 singles from my planned comeback album have failed, and I need to select my third carefully. No idea what to do though. My tutor says I obviously should do film-y shit, so I thought maybe an extensive and nicely done storyboard or something (seeing as making a film would be a bit flimsy and sudden otherwise).
  13. No. It's offal. Not funny at all, and quite ignorant (I know most jokes are un P.C, but it makes you look stupid. Even if the picture does that anyway). It was funnier in-video.
  14. Yes. I'd check (not knowing anything about tracking devices except in films) if it was bugged or something, destroy the case/abandon it, and keep the money. By keep, I might like give it out my family/charity, depending on how I feel. Not rolling in it etc. Would you sit in a fairly small cage with 3 alligators for 48 hours (no one, animal or beats is fed during this time), if at the end, you;d receive £3, 000, 000?
  15. Are you still mad? You're in limbo no more.
  16. Just been listening to the songs of his I have, realised I don't have Cry Me A River (the one I genuinely really like), but it's 99p on iTunes instead of 79p, so I defy. I quite like SexyBack.
  17. I feel like Justin Timberlake should be better than he is. I do really like Cry Me A River and some random one from that above album I can't remember, but it seems a case of "Never fails to impress, but never impresses." - my favourite self-coined phrase.
  18. Yeah, it's refreshingly un-power-ballady as a whole. A Change Would Do You Good has catchy verses and chorus, and I always wondered why that wasn't the more famous song from that album.
  19. Grummy. And Jaygeven.
  20. I feel like I need to honour the fact that she's my most-watched actress, and go see every film she's in. /*doesn't* I like her face though. And she was okay in My Sister's Keeper and Being John Malkovich.
  21. Post it now, ignore Jayseven. Post it now, ignore Jayseven. Post it now, ignore Jayseven. Post it now, ignore Jayseven. Post it now, ignore Jayseven. Post it now, ignore Jayseven. Post it now, ignore Jayseven. Post it now, ignore Jayseven. Post it now, ignore Jayseven. Post it now, ignore Jayseven.
  22. Looking foward to their album, here's their first big single and video for it (not counting I Am Not A Robot and Mowgli's Road, which were to generate hype) Not totally sold on it. Very pop, but I do like the bit about Shakira/Catherine-Zeta. It's nothing on Mowgli's Road/IANAR.
  23. Stacey was really shit, but that's cause it was a terrible song choice for her. Perfect for Michael Jackson, not for her... Stopped watching after her performance.
  24. An entertaining read about how shit Twilight is, the horrible messages it presents and yeah. All that jazz. (At the end of each page, just before the comments, there's a link to the article on the next book)
