I've loved Foxbase Alpha for a few months now, just listened to their other stuff yesterday, and it seems they have a bit of Liz Phair syndrome; forgetting how to stun after the second album. Ooh, good one. See, ordinarily I'd be engrossed in all the different possibilites of what things can symbolise etc, but I'm trying to be more focused in this project than my last one..I get too caught up in the ideas and then never resolve the end product. Plus cause Ive "done religion" before I try to steer clear of it, but I really like that actually. : peace: *notes*

A lovely idea. TBH I'm focusing more on the bathy aspect than the existence bit. Still at the purely research/drawing stage, so I can marry the ideas together later on, but you reminded me of this, which is good; Like, waking up one person one day, next day someone else etc. Could be worked in.

I managed to forget that I read the first arc of Dark Avengers. :p Just started reading it again and I was like "Hold on...". I read the whole story of them fighting Morgan. Will read on from there.

I've been at home last two mornings, and generally at home this week cause it the initial research week at college, and I'm doing a little film piece centered around (atm) the bathroom, or something like that. So been at home taking lots of photos and doing some drawings...annoying as I've run out of ink, so lots of writing/image pages I would have done already are just sortof blank atm. Gonna do the writing then add the pics later I guess. I'm writing a page on the Resurrection Tubs from Battlestar Galactica. (Baths...rejuvination, existence, all what I'm looking at atm)

I listened to that a month or so ago, after people told me it was better before Prince wrapped his clammy paws around it. I wasn'y blown away. It sounds almost good, but you can tell she wasn't sure how to resolve it/complete it, so let Prince do it instead. This original is clunky in parts, but when it's great it's better than the Princeified one. But then if the Prince version never existed, we might never have got the stunning collaboration with Kate Bush on My Computer.

Metallic might look a bit like a kitchen funnel thing, like the Tin Man. :p OH. Also...whatever happened to Sarah and Gabriel Osborn/Stacy? I know Sins Past was hated, and while I don't hate it, it just seems a bit...flat and meh. But Gabriel survives after being Grey Goblin for a milisecond, and Sarah walks off somewhere else...did they appear anytime since the original story? I ask cause I would have thought Norman to have like...called them into battle/Gabriel into battle right about now.

Yeah, Humans ftw. The Monsters are useful as fill ins and distracting enemies (or healing, I taught my Fenrir Heal), but I always used real people over monsters where possible.

It would actually be cool if he died or something, but it would feel kinda wrong if it wasn't in a battle with Spidey. Like...all these years of absolute torment, and yeah fair enough, he's now a big bad for EVERYONE, but it should be Spidey's fight imo. I do love GG, so wouldn't mind if he somehow became him fulltime again, or kinda...gave in to the Goblin persona, making more of a normal villain once again. That would be an anticlimax though.

I'm sure Brand New Day does a good job of changing history to make it make sense in the grand scheme (!!!). I mean, I like Osborn in the position, but it makes no sense. I read Spidey in the mid-late 90's (start early!) for the end of the Clone Saga (epic return!), and then when he returned again just as Norman Osborn, and got all of New York to love him, he took over the Bugle etc. Even that was slightly hard to buy, as (pointed out during th story) Ben Urich wrote a book all about how Osborn was the Goblin. Fair enough there was never enough proof at the time, but it all ended up with him losing easily to Spidey after The Gathering of Five, in which he gained extreme madness (but that wore off, all the powers from that storyline did). Then I think next we see is during the start of Marvel Knights Spider-Man with the whole Sinister Twelve thing, i.e he's a known-super criminal. Also, has Miss Hand got any interesting ablities/powers/stories? She appeared out of nowhere and has a semi-important recurring role, and that hair seems to suggest super to me. :p

Yeah I really love the whole shebag, I want to read all of Dark Avengers (just read the tie-in ones with Utopia), and also I've read and finished the Sinister Spider-Man mini, which was entertaining (and with lovely art by Bachalo). X-Men Forever is so shit. Usually my sense of "need to finish the story!" would kick in, but it's just atrocious. Also, a question that's been bugging me. How did Osborn get the job as director of the Thunderbolts? From the looks of things, he just appeared out of nowhere? Was this explained in other issues of another title? Last I remember, he was locked up in Rykers/jail and it was known he was Green Goblin. *wait* Brand...new...day...? It is, isn't it? Oh frak that.

While I never really was able to "smell smoke" when everyone complained about it cause both my parents smoked and I was used to it, it's (the ban) only a good thing, really. People who smoke aren't having the right to smoke taken away, they just have to do it away from other people inside. Which is fair. --- Arab, what you said was ridonkulus.

It seems both he and his wife are comic-y. RE: Thunderbolts Speeding through years worth of issues, but american comics are epicly short, so yeah. Currently in on issues from las tyear. At first I wasn't so keen on the Dark Reign team, I'd grown so attached to the Venom/Bullseye/Moonstone one. But it's definitely well done, and all the members are engaging and you want to know more about them. Just the the big reveal about
