  1. An immaculate program. A wonderful experience. Where did these go? I wish I was unmade again.
  2. Well, surely some people will mentally feel they are neither gender, or biologically in some cases. In that case wouldn't you understand if they didn't like you coming along and being annoyed that they didn't choose one or the other? Not sure if that is even the right response to what you said.
  3. Antichrist I loved. In general. It feels less polished or "complete" than some of his works, but then in the extras everyone said Von Trier was having "mental issues" or something. Slightly meandering, but enjoyable in a twisted way. I covered my eyes several times. But when my eyes were open, it's a visual stunner. Charlotte, you're good. I just loved "Bastard!". The fox. = Yes. I liked how in the Bonus Interviews they singled out the idiotic douchebag from the Daily Mail at the Cannes Press Conference, who was really rude and demanded Von Trier "justify the film being made", and like shouted at him for no reason.
  4. Relaxed. Didn't do any work, woke up sans hangover, started watching Antichrist, loved, but just stopped it atm cause I'm about to eat and I'm in no mood to find out what she's about to do with that big stone thing. Gonna head off to a gathering of peeps after dinner.
  5. Seriously? Why? Joke. I know from reading Thunderbolts that Deadpool feels he should have got the glory for defeating the Skrull Queen...will he have a big part in Siege?
  6. I left it for the 12 minutes it told me, went to look at it, and it looked done, but left it for another 5. It tasted fine.
  7. I've turned someone into a BSG fan! Got him the miniseries as his xmas pressie, he just finished and said he's gagging for the rest. Next time he'd down from uni, we're swapping our respective collection of BSG and Buffy (I know, the quality isn't in balance, but you deal).
  8. Thanks/ Fuck off! (to Dan and Ell) I did actually cook and eat it all, I just generally prefer big breakfast and dinner, with small lunch. So I thought I'd be conservative, despite having a Pizza urge. But then it was so nice, I had it all (it wasn't as big I anticipated)*. *awaiting joke.
  9. Urgent help needed. Confession: I'm bad at life skills. I.e I need advice on cooking a Pizza. Can I like...cut the pizza in half, cook half, and put the rest back in the fridge? I'm thinking yes, but I'm scared of the fact it won't be sealed etc.
  10. Brothers + Sisters Season 4 Ep 1 Lovely. Same old, same old except the "OMG" moments with Kitty and *possibly* Justin and Rebecca, though they seemed to toally avoid the
  11. I was dubious about the Agenst of Atlas, they remind me of shit/retor DC treams we all try to forget. But then The Thunderbolts are good, so it's ok.
  12. I',m home alone for a weekend for the first time fucing ever! Was going to have a party/gatrhering byut my mum guilt-tripped me into not. But might still. Went out tonight to a friends brother's band's free gig I expected shit, but his brother had a stunning voicve. HOMNESTLY a mx of Axl Rose (mmm) and Juliette Lewis) yes). I was blown from several directions. Drank a lot, having had no dinner helped in my tipsiness, but after the gig, we faffed arpund so much I sobered up (well more than I wanted). Paid for entry ande cloakroom in a club, but ended up ;osing everyone/drama, so ac tually did nothing in said club but try and m,ove through th massess (insanely packed), and then left. Got taxi an d home. I could go back and spell check, but I can't be arsed, let's all be hones.
  13. The Cook, The Thief, His Wife And Her Lover Recommended by the headteacher/a mysterious woman at college who knows too much. I have to watch loads of films of an arty or historically relevant disposition now I'm planning to do/study film. I really liked this, lovely visuals and like...the way...it moved. Can't really describe it. I suppose "direction", but it was cool, it felt like one big set, which it mostly was supposed to be (in one building for most of it). Engaging, well acted, ra ra ra.
  14. I'm not really in a DC mood atm. I might try Walking Dead, it's really recommended on here. Only other Image/Kirkman (think it's him?) thing I've read is Astounding Wolf-Man, which was thoroughly mediocre, so would be nice to read WD and see.
  15. Lol! rofl etc 10 char

  16. Hairspray hairspray. Spray. :p

    Hair x

  17. I've been struggling to make a mix tape for a big swap I'm taking part in. The theme is just that it's songs from the 2000's. Narrowed it down to 265, and now to 71. But the problem is, the only song I actually am in love with atm is Wild Is The Wind by Cat Power. I'm tempted to send that, along with a lovely drawing, as my mix cd.
  18. Yeah yeah yeah! You HAVE to use Haispray for Charcoal. Pencil is effectively fine by itself, but hairspray protects other things, but Charcoal is delicate. Hairspay those bastards!

  19. I need another series to tide me over. Any recommendations? Currently actively following; Uncanny X-Men Thunderbolts Dark Avengers Invincible I'm not really interested in New Avengers (unless it's REALLY good..dunno). I like Spider-Man, but not too keen on checking him out atm. Looked into Kick-Ass, but couldn't *find* it all properly. I tried to join that myxss site to actually be able to search/request stuff but it never e-mailed me my password so...
  20. Well, yes. I think Ashley was trying to say basically he made it popular in cinema (dunno if that's true or not). Virginia Woolf used stream-of-conciousness a lot, she's the only although that I've read a lot of who used it loads, but it wasn't just her.
  21. So now right up to date (except yesterday's Thunderbolts issue) with Dark Avengers and Thunderbolts. (also read latest Dark Wolverine for the sake of it/I read the spoiler above)
  22. He's so shit though. It's the fact he can't draw things so they look...right. He just draws wrong. Style and exaggerration are fine...I love Chris Bachelo's stuff, for example. But Liefiled draws in such detail/works so intensely on the linework that the faults are just obvious.
  23. ^ Bought my ticket to see her in April. I like her newly aquired accent. :p
