I really dislike the single version of Hollywood, the Fenech Soler mix is so much better. But love her other songs. Can't wait for the album. Hurricane Drunk in a meh-good one on Lungs for me. Howl and Cosmic Love are wya better (from the non-singles).

I've decided a friend of mine does indeed look like Ke$ha (a debate that's gone on for a while now, and has evolved into various sub-queries). Chair called said friend "The least-convincing tranny he'd ever seen". Or something along those lines.

Since I've decided to do film, I needed a camcorder, which my dad said he'd help me with, since it was like "what I want to do with my life" and stuff. But then I got a text saying he'd bought it (without my help or monies or anything), which was good (he usually dilly-dallies about shit) but suspicious. Came round to show me, it's really nice, but made the point that it was "our" camera, not a gift. Which would be fine...but the point of me getting a camera was kinda so I'd have one to take to uni... So dunno what's gonna happen about that.

Check that they haven't listed how they want it. Lots of places do. Otherwise, start with the best, then put more good stuff in the middle, then end with good stuff. The rest of middling stuff can go in between. I would make it varied in order, if they haven't said they want it an explicit way.

Me too! I've wanted this for ages. It's never really explained they the Gym Leaders just give up after a few of their (presumably bounteous roster of Pokemon) are KO'd. Why you get 6 and they don't etc. Obviously to make it easier, but still. I think randomness would make it more fun. Also somehow having new trainers appear in old areas. That'd be great.

Ugh. Art work to do. But not necessarily drawing, so that's fine. Just not in the mood. Feeling slightly rough after last night at a great art/rock music event thing, full of stunning performance and installation art. And then drinking at the Edinburgh student union place.

I know, I do art. And so I know that the second one makes no fucking sense. It's effectively straight on, you can tell there's distortion here and there (the head obviously). That left (her left) boob, if it was curving around, would be smaller than the boob beside it, but it's not. It's huge compared, indicating it's part of the design. Hmm. Hang on, if you turn your head a little, it kinda makes sense, more sense at least. It's still definitely the picture that's wonky, but it's at a strange angle (nothing to do with the arm), and if you turn your head it works better etc. So not as bad I though.

Or maybe it's a picture of a really sick girl who didn't ever try garlic, so her immune defence is virtually nil. She can barely keep herself upright. It's terrible.

I don't believe for a second the lower one has correctly sized boobs if you look from a certain angle. It's just wrong. The top one is dubious too, but I can't with confidence say it's not just the angle.
