Yeah I enjoyed that whole album. Listened to Sia's new one for a bit, not particularly moved, but will give it time.

I've seen good arguements for it, in the sense of for the sake of progression, things need to be changed and the metaphorical hair trimmed down. However, they should really have just got a...divorce. It would just make a lot more sense and also be relatable to people and people would be less inclined to hate it since it's not a shit literary device in the first place. I haven't read much of ASM since BND apart from recently, what else was changed by the event? Harry back to life IIRC? That seems needless.

MUCH better idea than the budget feature films. A lot of characters could be explained fairly quickly.

I loved. A spontaneous duet of Ode To Divorce by Regina Spektor commenced this morning. The least uplifting/likely one to ever duet on. But it was good.

Just back from last night's night out. It was great. I love actually feeling like I got my money's worth. And I LOVED walking home in the early morning sun, listening to Miley Cyrus. There were too many revelations last night...some were...unbelievable. In the actual meaning of the word. As though we lived in a soap opera, but then again in the morning light no one is judged.

Mooched around all day, watching Arrested Development Season 3 (Yes!) and Scary Movie 4 (...), before friend came over. Then he left after Heroclix and Wii, and we might see each other in town tonight, at our respective nights out celebrating people's birthdays.

I am crying at the fact it feels like someone has read our collective mind. In the last issue the song titles were a joke , describing instead what their "song" would sound like. Mystique's was "a lament for the loss of an old lady and a species" or something, Mimic's was "Several lovely piano pieces, sometimes played for friends." It just adds so much, while also being totally needless. But yeah, I enjoyed Dark X-Men. Has anything been said about what happened to the team since? Since in the end, they're all really depressed with life.

OMFG I noticed in the little captions in Dark X-Men, they used a song title to describe each character, which appealed to me. Reminds me of what Chair and I do to passers-by in the street. First it was Beatles, second was Rolling Stones, fair enough, two famousies. I'm screaming. Issue 3 is Kate Bush. Fuuuuuuu- Nate Grey: The Man With The Child In His Eyes Venom: Hammer Horror (So correct! H.A.M.M.E.R;s horror, etc) Mystique: Mother Stands For Comfort (ffufufufufufuf considering Mystique uses Jean Grey's form in public and Nate assumed it was her/used her as a guide back into the real world or whatever) Omega: Pull Out The Pin (Obviously) Mimic: Don't Push Your Foot On The Heartbrake Dark Beast: The Kick Inside I'm just stunned. It's like I'm reading the comic I'll write in the future, since it's something I'd clearly do. I'm banging my head off the desk. I haven't even read the issue yet. EDIT: OH fuck there's more. Iron Patriot: Big Stripey Lie (Shit! Yes. YES! THIS is perfect.) Ares: Love and Anger Hawkeye/Hawkeye: Heads We're Dancing Wolverine/Daken: An Architect's Dream (yes Aerial) The Setnry: Be Kind To My Mistakes Ms. Marvel: In The Warm Room I'm so happy. CHAIR! EDIT: I'm crying. "The Dark Avengers: Them Heavy People" Let me be weak.

Just finished reading Dark Avengers vol.1 trade, and I'm reminded why I loved it in the first place. Definitely gonna get the next two (though the last one isn't out and is pricey for less content than the others). I don't think I ever read Dark X-Men...I've seen a bad review, but want to have a go. I only saw them during the Utopia crossover, which I did read.

Are the Resident Evil films any good? They seem to be the most successful (clearly, this being the fourth big film in the series) game-film adaptation, and they look like they might be fun in a "Oh, action-nice visuals-lovely" way.

Went to see my sister in my old school's big Summer concert thing, in the Usher Hall. Actually really great. We all love Carmina Burana or whatever it's called. O Fortuna of course. The soloist woman they dug up from somewhere (certainly not the school...) was too good. Met my old English Teacher who's in my list of the world's true greats. He was (almost fatally) ill at the end of last school year so I sent him a letter saying blah blah we loved you! so It was nice to actually meet him again and catch up.

I'm in a fit. These are the best things that the internet has offered me/humanity. The person who makes these is a legend. I can't breathe RE: "Chrissie, I don't hate you cause you're black, you're black because I hate you." and "This is the muhafuckingdressI'mgonnagetmuthafuckinggang-bangedintonight!"

Yesys. Was about to go to bed, when I was impromptuly needed in town by a sel;ect group of college friends. Clealry 300 points together, but you would never think to put them all together. Went to the most stunning pub, where the upstairs was same-old-same-old, but downstairs was tiny, and where you all sat around playing/singing great folk songs. Genuine greats, playing songs I knew and loved. Jock O'Hazeldeen, Blue Bleezing Blind Drunk (!!!!!!!Chair!!!! - acapella solo too. Actualy making the lyrics poignant) etc. I was blown all over the place.

I don't the joke in any of them. Is it the fact it's Nicolas Cage?

^ That must be it!

Scary Movie 1 and 2 First time seeing these in about 4 years. Many jokes have stemmed from bits of these films, but seeing them now after so long, I can see their shiteness. Fart jokes are NEVER funny. In fact I think I only found mild enjoyment in these current rewatchings because I know Brenda et al influences various things through the years. I do love in the first one where she runs really weirdly out of the room though. Poor/10

I've finished at Leith School of Art. A year's gone too quickly. Arrived at 4 to clear up the exhibition. Then we all went through to the back studio for wine and the handing out of certificates and stuff. It would be sad If I had more emotional attachment/had been there longer, but I'll see these people all the time over the summer and after that so yeah. I feel really sorry for a friend of mine, he has this...shyness thing, where in situations where he would be clapped, or have to receive an award and stuff, he just CAN'T be there. He didn't show up to get his prize for being the most dedicated student at the exhibition opening, and then he got up and left the room when he realised people clapped for you as you got your certificate. He came back in and stodd at the back, but yeah. I'd hate that. It's hard to describe though, cause he's not a "shy" person, he's just stoic/reserved/fairly "normal". Just this anxiety thing. But anyway. Said bye to everyone and the tutors, took my shit and left. Yes.

That was scintilating. To lower the tone, I'm apparently going to see Jason Derulo with my sister in the festival this year... *looks around, lips pursed*

Just read the end of Shed and start fo Grim Hunt too. I might go back and read all of The Gauntlet, it feels stun. I love Arachne getting her day in the sun. Poor Mattie. I remember her from the horific Mackie/Byrne Spider-man stories of the late 90's/early 2000's. With her haircut that I'm sure Byrne thought was "spunky!", but in fact made her look awful. Question;
