well, men in the uk would often work hand in hand, arm in arm around town as recently as the late 1800's, it was only when homosexuality was cracked down on that they stopped, lest they be sent to jail. as for that guy in iraq, i don't get it. its not like homosexuality hurts any one, and i certainly dont associate it with islam. my personal feeling is the guys a closet gay and hates himself for it.

Tomb raider: Underworld or Camera issues push me over the edge. ok, so you know its not good when you stop playing a game because your stress is threatening to make you shit yourself in protest. the game had so much potential. it looked nice, the story seemed servicable, the levels were well desgined. unfortunatly the game failed in two major ways. firstly, combat was bollocks. i mean utter shite, youd think storming an enemy ship would be exciting. it wasnt. youd think fighting tigers would get the pulse going. it didnt. combat boiled down to "hold fire and move a bit" if it was any less invovling, the guns would fire automaticaly, and why the crap should i need to fill a meter to get a head shot? if i point my guns at somthings head and fire. that counts as a head shot. it just does. at least the platforming can makeup for it, right? wrong. you know, i have no real problem with the controles, but being totaly unaware of the existence of anouther ledge due to the camera flat out refusing to move away from lara's arse was a joke. it actuialy forces you to just jump and hope it works out. I will say that the QTE approach was cool, just slow the level down and have regular moves. good *Looks pretty *well laid out levels *cool QTE bad *fighting is boring *impossible to see what your doing *motorbike section 4/10, wated a solid frame work. -
or, if your me, they put the wrong game in the box. bought super paper mario, walked home (30 mins) found harry potter and the goblet of fire staring back at me from inside, so i walked back (30 mins) explained what they had done and walked back home again (30 mins) it was lucky i checked, i was staying in my student house due to a messed up birthday weekend for a friend, didnt even have my wii with me and was going home for a week later that day.

gotta say, latly theres been a load of crap thrown at new members, probebly why so few seem to stay. personaly, i like the subject of the thread, its somthing ive always woundered about people collecting games.

i see no point in keeping things sealed, i mean, you might as well just have an empty box. how can you apreciate a game without playing it?

see, on september 11th 2001 (8 years ago today) musslim extreemists hijacked 4 civilian jets. two of these jets were flown into the twin towers of the world trade center, one into the pentago and in the forth plan, the passengers resisted and the plane crashed before reacing its apparent desitnation of camp david, were the president would have been. what the picture does is to subtaly parrody the greeting card culture of today, and blatently dissrguard the inherent tragedy of the event. the humour is mostly in its shock value, being so sick and twisted, and so outside of social conventions, it elicits a laugh from sheer wrongness.

dead space is one of my highlites of 2008's games. its an unbelivably emersive game, if just 1/4 of that emersion is realised on the wii, i'll be happy.

picked charlie, my new car, up from the dealer today, had a brief drive, round a car park to get the feel, then about 4 miles home. all went well, steering is good but the brakes are a little harsh. did need then due to some dozy sod not indicating, meaning i got an emergancy stop. had a nightmare reversing onto the drive. stalled a lot. felt like a twat. in my defence, the drive is a big slope.
