Went to pick up a Wii Speak Unit for Christmas today, couldn't find it separately anywhere, so I had to get it with the game. Still, 48 quid at Toys R Us was a pretty good deal, although I'll have to wait 20 days to try it out.

Gotta be the Ball & Chain and Spinner items; criminally underused in Twilight Princess. Midna is probably one of the best supporting characters in any game ever too. -
I think he means Blast Works, that 2D shooter kinda like LittleBigPlanet. I dunno what's happened to it either.

Yah, I did that, thanks for the advice by the way. Even though the unit is out of Warranty by at least a year, I'm not getting charged a penny for any of it. Say what you will about Nintendo, but their customer service is top-notch. : peace:

Woah, quite an FF Catfight going on here. I'll add my name to the list that recommend FF9 (brilliant game, I'm playing through it right now), and also to those that dislike FF12. That game should have been a spinoff, not a mainline title; I probably wouldn't hate it as much as I do if it was (and I'm not going to get into an argument about it because I suck at them). On topic; The fact that Brown, Guns and Gore seem to be the standard for videogames and creativity & imagination are the exception; should be the other way round.

Well, if Capcom's sales tally is of any indication; Okami on Wii sold pretty well. If you count a two year old port with no extras that didn't sell well in the first place selling 300,000 as good of course.

Might explain the high price if there's advanced Noise-Cancelling Technology in there. Doesn't make the impact on the wallet any less though.

Argos are selling it separately in their new Christmas catalogue, although I hope the price they have it at in there is merely speculative; £25 is way too much for any Microphone.

They'd probably have to alter the enemy and puzzle structures of those two games. I remember EDGE's 'Revolution' controller feature just after it was first seen in 2005, and they spoke about trying out a configuration for MP2. The most damning comment was that 'here Nintendo's history of innovation worked against them, as Metroid Prime 2 was designed for conventional control, and this system doesn't work well with it' (or something like that ). So yeah, chances are Retro Studios are giving the originals a little internal revamp alongside their big Wii Project.

If it's been said once, it's been said a million times, 'Waving your arms around' in any Wii title is just foolish, what game works like that? Certainly not this one. As for MIDI, anything higher would have been impossible, so why moan?
