  1. You know, this news popping up reminds me of a thread I had read on cubed3 forums in summer of last year. Basically, this guy (or girl? can't remember) was telling everyone of his/her knowledge of Nintendos announcements for the next six months. Most of what he said was crap really (eg. MGS4 on wii, HD wii, power to better PS3 etc.), but two of his/her declarations now have a ring of truth to them, namely the return of Spaceworld With A Major Difference (we all saw Nintendo World late last year), and an enhanced port of Resi 4 with more extras. Gets you thinking about it, eh?
  2. Agree with you there Daft. Here, imagine this: A new DS version of Golden Sun (Set after the first 2), that uses the GBA slot to transfer character data from the Lost age to the DS version. Then, a couple of months after this one's release, a wii instalment is also released, and links to the DS one to transfer(one example) more improved character stats to it. I'd buy both in a heartbeat!
  3. Theres a bit of footage here, apparently an early build, but the control scheme has potential from what I can see: http://gonintendo.com/index.php?paged=2 (Look down near the bottom of the page.)
  4. Interesting stuff. Sega seem to be on a roll. First Monkey ball, then Dragonball Z (Is that a sega game? I think it is), then sonic, and now this. Hopefully this wil turn out to be great and stay as an exclusive.
  5. I was surprised as much as anybody on the announcement of Mario and Sonic Olympics, but it got me thinking of something else. Now that Camelot seem to be distancing themselves from Nintendo, where does the future of the Mario sports titles lie? If this Olympics game turns out to be great, would it be wise for Nintendo to let Sega handle the sports titles, as they have a proven track record with their own titles(Incidently, such record was the reason Dreamcast recieved no support sports-wise from EA). And if the Olympics game does go well, and Sega are given the permission to develop the titles, will Sonic be in them too?
  6. News Break: Looks like it'll be Smackdown Vs Raw 2008 for us as well: http://www.cubed3.com/news/7148/1/Smackdown_vs._Raw_2008_Revealed I was kind of hoping for an exclusive kind of WWE game, but at least we won't get left out features-wise any more.
  7. Gotta be FF7 for best one, although IX comes close. Hated XII though, absolutely hated it.
  8. Of most recent memory... Kingdom hearts 2 Great Game. Love to see 3 on Wii.
  9. Heres another one: - Getting to beat up the commentators (finally!)
  10. Oooo, tough one. Perhaps heatseeker, if I can get some money.
  11. As I'm relatively new to this forum, I can't say whether theres been a thread on this already or not,so modererators, feel free to lock or redirect it if so. Basically, what do the wrestling fans here want from the Wii version of the confirmed WWE game coming soon? I'll start us off. - Mii compactibility in some form (perhaps transfer likenesses into CAW mode) - SD card music for CAW modes - Motion control for Create a Taunt and (Hopefully) Create a finisher mode. - Better career modes and better match type selection Personally I'd be happy with a Smackdown vs Raw 2008 conversion with extras, but it would be great for another exclusive version.
  12. Sure, the name final fantasy is strange, but think of it like this, each one is set in a new world, with new characters, locations, and pretty much everything, so it kind of works. While I'm at it, FF12 sucks. If square enix use the same battle system in 13, I won't be getting it.
  13. Back on topic: Capcom, announce Okami and Viewtiful Joe 3 on Wii, and you will have made me one hell of a happy gamer. Oh yeah, and a House of the Dead Compilation please
  14. It would be nice to (finally) see a GTA on a Nintendo home console, but it would have to be something special, preferably not a port. I haven't enjoyed playing any game in the series since GTA3.
  15. Tough one, this, but I reckon WW is the slightly better Zelda, if only for the art style and the newness feel of it.
  16. Easy one this: 1. Resi 4 2. Wind Waker 3. Smash Bros Despite me being a huge sonic and sega fan, thier turnout on the 'cube wasn't that good.
  17. Pretty Good.
  18. If the majority of that so-called Fanbase has defected to the cheaper-and-same-games 360, (Devil may cry being the newest to break PS3 exclusitivity) there won't be much for the PS3 to gain back.
  19. I liked the story book style cut scenes, felt a bit cheap at first, but I got used to them. Great game overall, but not quite the best of 3D sonic.
  20. The Monkey Island games are ideal for a wiimake, methinks, or even a DS conversion. While I'm thinking about it, why the hell are lucasarts missing out on ideal opportunities to reinvigourate the point and click series'?
