Square Enix must be sticking at least one of its' series onto wii, and this seems to be the prime candidate. Love to see it.

I don't doubt how much playstation has helped the gaming masses into mainstream appeal, and I thank Sony for that (the only thanks they'll ever get from me). But I, for one, hate arrogance in any form. Nintendo displayed it with the N64, so I went over to the Playstation, but by the beggining of the PS2s life, the glove was on the other hand, and I came back. Don't get me wrong, if nintendo slip back into thier old ways through sucess with the Wii, I'll be off to the Microsoft side. I have loyalty only to the underdogs, as they are always the most interesting.

Halo, no question. I've said and always will say: its goldeneye with bells on. I was damned tempted to vote Gran Turismo, hate that series. OOO, look! I'm driving repeatedly around a track, with a fancy car that can't get damaged, and losing my will to live! Had to vote Halo overall, it is more acclaimed and all the more irritating for it.

I suppose, but it all depends on the quality of those games as to whether Ubisofts support is worthwhile. Will we see more ports like far cry?

Right, this is where to go for VC help, so I'll make the most of it. Background: Since I don't have broadband, I am forced to go round my friend's house every couple of months and use his. Problem: When I booted it all up and went on the shop channel last week, there was hardly anything on there. No Lylat wars (even though the front page said there was), no zelda Snes, and hardly any of the big names. My questions are these, does the wii need time in Wiiconnect24 mode to update the selection? If so, how much time? Is my wii faulty? Is it specific games for each county of the UK? Is there a help number from Nintendo that doesn't stick you on a twenty minute waiting line?
