I wouldn't say that. The PS2 version isn't even on the list. Hopefully that means sales for multiformat games on the PS2 are dying down, then there won't be so many Wii ports.

Your 5 Reasons why the Wii is great
Darkspine S replied to Falcon_BlizZACK's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Nice idea, here's my list; 1. Brings back and revitalizes old Franchises I guess at this moment in time this one only really applies to Sega. Without the Wii, chances are we never would have had a new NiGHTS, or Samba de Amigo, and House of the Dead probably would've stayed in it's grave. Even Punch-Out!! is on the way back, thanks to the Remote and Nunchuk. 2. Virtual Console/Wiiware For the former, a chance to relieve and experience classics (worth it for Sin & Punishment alone), and for the latter, a new ground for underdog developers to prove their brilliance. Hell, LostWinds and World of Goo make that service worthwhile. 3. Impact Without something as off-the-tracks as Wii, I dread to think of what the console generation would have become. Over-expensive consoles, games with nothing new except spruced-up visuals, and Identikit-genres. Nintendo gave the industry a wake-up call, and it shows. 4. Potential And lots of it. Mario Galaxy and Monster Hunter 3 prove that Wii has more grunt under the hood than many would give it credit for, and future games will only get better. Thanks to motionplus arriving very soon, the true ability of Wii controls can be realized. 5. Endless number of great games Cast away that idiotic stigma of so-called 'casual' games, and any sane person would realize there are heaps of great titles you can play on the Wii. Through Gamecube backwards-compatibility, Virtual Console, Wiiware, Wii Channel features, and of course Wii games in general, there is a lot you can do with that little white box. -
Arc Rise Fantasia (Marvelous/Image Epoch)

Like Skies of Arcadia then? Awesome. -
According to Gamespot UK, the publishers for each region have been named; Okay, I'm confused. I see the Rising Star Logo on my copy of NMH, but I thought Ubishit published it here? Did they just handle distribution? The fact that they aren't even named in the list of publishers hopefully means there'll be no hesitation in handing over my cash this time.

Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World
Darkspine S replied to jammy2211's topic in Nintendo Gaming
New Trailer from TGS, in that old-fashioned language they call English; Looks like Lloyd's voice actor has changed, couldn't hear any of the others, but Collette's (for better or worse) is the same (about halfway through the vid). :awesome: -
Now this is interesting, if a little confusing; link I highly doubt that Nintendo would release another DSi unit with the GBA slot just for a bundle, and putting two, one with and one without, onto the market both at once would be confusing as heck. I reckon, chances are Chain of Memories would be one of the first GBA downloadable titles for the DSi, and this bundle would include it in the handheld's memory. :awesome:

Reggie says: Hardcore Gamers are "Insatiable"
Darkspine S replied to Dante's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Some of the people can be satisfied all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but there's no pleasing so-called 'Hardcore' gamers. -
Debut Trailer; Looks great, I surprisingly like the Music. One with better quality over here at Gametrailers.

Reggie says: Hardcore Gamers are "Insatiable"
Darkspine S replied to Dante's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Thing is, they have to aim those adverts at the mainstream crowd because, unlike us, they know little about the game. Plus, it's not as if the adverts were screaming 'Hey, only Grandparents and Middle-aged people can play these games!' Reggie definitely has a point when he says Gaming fans are insatiable. Most people just don't realize how much time it takes to make a whole new game. Asking for a new main Mario title now is just stupid. -

Wasn't one of the downloadable Applications listed for the DSi-Store the ability to download Miis from your Wii to a DSi? -

http://kotaku.com/5057288/bloomberg-new-ds-wii-accessories-coming-soon That Wii accessory had better be some kind of bloody memory solution, I've got loads of Wii points spare but can't use them because I can't put the games anywhere. -
Yeah, I know the whole viewpoint of remakes and ports on Wii is less than welcome right now, but this is frickin Klonoa! Revealed in Famitsu; http://img152.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=43211_up305245_122_1199lo.jpg (Sorry, I'm not sure how to stick up pictures yet. ) I loved that series on the playstation, so I'll be getting this one. Looks pretty good from the scans too.

I guess that would depend on how Nintendo treat the 3D transfer, the original Kid Icarus was completely different to the first Zelda. -

http://www.gamekyo.com/newsen29138_nintendo-reviving-an-old-franchise-for-the-wii.html I'm betting PunchOut or Kid Icarus. -
Traded in Mario Strikers and Warioware Wii for this today. Initially I was skeptical, it felt like any old regular Platformer, but when the music started improving throughout the level and the challenges and level design began to vary, I found I was enjoying it. Excellent work Bluetongue and THQ!: peace:
