Yep, I wouldn't trust Nintendo to do that just because XBLA/PSN did, just to be safe. They may have info on their website tho, or you could ask customer services?

Need For Speed Nitro gets my vote for 1 of the best (arcade style) racers - highly recommended if you haven't tried it yet.

I played 2 hours' worth on the weekend and found it pretty difficult (jumping mechanic is weeeeeeird) and got completely lost. Absolutely love the graphics & the music. More will be played!!

Anyone tried this? It was un-cancelled and just been released on Wiiware, for 1000 points (apparently cheaper than in Japan). First impressions are Rick Dangerous meets Metroidvania, and so far highly recommended

I've also not had any distortion on mine, but a friend says his crackles when he turns up the volume. Will have to get together & compare sometime - see if it's individual XLs or all models... Since my last Nintendo handheld is the DS Lite, the sound's a massive improvement to me (DS games sound much deeper & punchier, esp the music in Nanostray 2). But then the DS lite was a drop in volume+bass from the original DS at the time, so go figure...

A couple of things i've noticed since mine arrived yesterday: Warm yellow tint: it seems to happen when it's in power-saving mode. If you go into Brightness settings & switch Power-Saving Mode to OFF, the yellow goes away. DS region locking: I've tried my US copies of Nanostray 2, Contra 4, Dementium, ATV Wild Ride and Soul Bubbles and they all work fine. So the DS compatibility seems to have no region locking, at least for those games.

This is a (backward, closed minded) family that wouldn't approve of their son's partner. It happens all over the place, for various reasons - different race, religious clash, from a family they refuse to associate with, the list goes on. So my question: Would same sex marriage/equality rights necessarily prevent this type of thing from happening?

Burnout 2 was a high point in the series for me, it was the perfect balance between focus on the crashing and pure racing goodness. And the cube version had upgrades over the original PS2 version - higher detail models & extra modes I've also recently discovered Smuggler's Run, which is a hidden gem. Fun crazy taxi-style gameplay, in a MASSIVE open landscape environment, and also worth owning since it's the only Rockstar game to ever come out on the cube. Also improved graphics & gameplay over the original PS2 version, and runs at a silky smooth 60fps.

Even tho i'm not interested in getting married myself, I filled in the survey for the sake of everyone having the OPTION. If some twat declares themselves celibate, sexually abuses children and then decides it's his right to dictate the laws of who can & cannot marry, at least this lets a homo/trans person give them the finger & say "fuck you, i'll go get married somewhere else then".
