Are you sure you want to miss out on games like Perfect Dark Zero, Enchant Arm, Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Fable 2 etc? Xbox 360 is a must buy for any self respecting gamer, I'd say. Maybe not at launch, but the games on the way look fab (if you ignore the hoards of generic FPS and war games... although having said THAT, The Outfit looks fantastic fun with it's humorous light-hearted take on WW2).

I'll get 'em all. TBH, the Rev is looking like the "secondary" one for me.

Jade Empire. Anyway, as much as I love RPGs, I find Bioware's stuff very half-assed, their Xbox output has had really crap battle systems... so, not so excited.

I wouldn't pay a fiver, but I really don't like Super Mario Kart :-p Offer me a mint copy of Secret of Evermore or Terranigma, though... I'll get the cash out right away.

I don't like the GTA games. I prefer to buy family friendly titles, myself, even though I'm 22. I wouldn't touch an 18 rated game. I don't watch 18 rated movies, either.

Advent Children is pretty amazing to watch. The story isn't up to much, but when the game had a 30-hour-plus story (FFVII took me 34 hours first time around, compared to around 12 hours for Ocarina of Time) you can't expect something just as deep and complex from a 2-hour movie. Watch it, enjoy it, but don't moan about it afterwards as most of the people who've seen it seem to do.

UNES - Ultra Nintendo Entertainment System. Cue Ultra Mario Bros, F-Zero X-Ultra, Ultra Wars, Ultra Zelda, Ultra Ghouls 'n Ghosts, Ultra Mario Kart etc... And the Mario game will be quite retro stylee, but as well as letting you turn into standard Super Mario, you can now turn into a Mario64 DS-style Ultra Mario who can stomp all over the place. And it'll have fire flowers. And frog suits.

I use X. I can't get used to the idea of flicking a stick to jump, it's wierd, even if it's more logical.

lets you plug your GC into a PC monitor. I was using one for my Japanese cube for ages until I got a Freeloader (funnily the Freeloader runs J and US games in colour on my TV, but only ran the J Cube in b/w).

Xbox 360, upon detecting a low controller battery, pauses the game and brings up the main "360 menu" thing informing you your battery is low. At this point you can either 1)change battery 2)Plug optional controller cord in to recharge as you play 3)use a wired controller (360 has both types accepted as standard) Dunno 'bout Rev, but I doubt it'd leave you in the lurch with a dead battery and an angry boss attacking.

You're all forgetting about the gameplay. Nothing will top NBA JAM: TE, ever. I got it for a tenner on SNES at Toys 'r' Us one day and it was fab in multiplayer. So fast and crazy. HE'S ON FIRE!

Indeed. 'Tis a shame that 3D was accepted so rapidly, I think. Early 3D games were poor and clearly needed more time, but they were rushed to market. Saturn was a 3rd generation 2D machine and deserved a lot more recognition than it got.

I dunno, its anime more than manga I'm interested in, but I do see that manga would be easier - especially since it only requires a straight translation than a dub or subtitle timing... I'm just not sure how to go about it, obviously learning Japanese is a must, and it would be ideal if any other Japanese speakers could help out too... I'm in over my head just thinking about it, I fear.

Would this be possible without winning the lottery? I'm fed up of the UK getting a bum deal with Anime releases, and I want to do something about it. Anybody want to join me in my effort to see the UK get anime titles like Air, To Heart, Mahoraba, Viewtiful Joe, Elfen Lied, Bistro Cupid etc? Is it possible?

I think the best news here is the return of the grid system and the dark assembly. I missed those in the other games. The very idea of Disgaea 2 is enough to make me think bad things.

I wouldn't really give SoR a 15 rating, not these days. PG would be plenty.

Not a problem, because I buy all the main consoles so I don't miss out. If you wanted multiformat titles you probably made a bad move by sticking to Gamecube.
