I got Ridge Racer 6. It's fantastic fun. I love it, it's totally retro :-D R4 remains one of my most-loved racers ever.

Onigiri for life!

I got a 26" HDTV by Acer from Misco for £530. No composite input, so you'll need a VGA cable, but for the price the picture is incredible. The High-Res modes of 360 work wonderfully and it's pin-sharp. I can't knock it at all.

It was better on SNES (released as Tetris Attack, also available on GBA in the Doctor Mario / Puzzle League double pack). It had Yoshi in it :-D

Except "360" is easy to say and feels natural. Three-sixty. If it's called Revolution, I'll be calling it the Revvie.

Sounds like a good deal to me. I paid £309.98 for my N64 with Mario 64 on launch day, so £35 with games seems pretty bargainerific.

I want it to run in HD TT_TT My Xbox 360 is a thing of beauty in HD, and going back to "regular" resolution is horrible! Playing GC will never be the same now...

I dunno, Ragnarok 2 is looking sweet, in it's cel-shadey goodness.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.

Definitely the SNES for me. The N64 was alright, but suffered from a lack of RPGs (which ultimately led me to buy a PSone). Aside from Arcadia, Zelda and Symphonia, GC has been an absolute disaster for me. Very little worth playing, and they ruined Starfox. Twice. The DS, however, is almost approaching SNES-like status for me. Mainly thanks to Sonic Rush and the general "fun-ness" of games like Pac-Pix and Wario Wario which always raise a smile, especially when showing other people. Once Children of Mana, FFIII, Zelda, etc hits the machine, it'll be a tough call between the two. Kaitou Ruso looks absolutely blinding too! I pray, though, that Konami brings Twinbee to our Dual-screened friend.

Powerful enough to render those graphics obsolete, for sure.

Hmm. I got the Xbox version of this. Will the 360 version be significantly different to warrant a purchase?

I liked OOT back in the 90's, but I'd never, ever have called it perfect. The adult dungeons were pretty tedious, I found. It was too easy to get lost and disoriented. I thought the young-Link portions of the game were easily the best. As good as it was, I'd not be able to pronounce it Best Game Ever. My favourite N64 game was Lylat Wars :-D

Yes, it'd work. I had the Aussie Pokemon Stadium GS and that was fine.

I thought this was just GTA3 anyway... Geh, I hate this series.

Games mags are dropping like flies right now. Unless they start featuring more non-web content (i.e. more well written features, interviews and concept art) they'll continue to be canned. If GamesTM is shut, I'll be a little sad. It was the only multiformat mag I read (since Edge was often a little heavy for me).

The Fight Night demo looks amazing. Shame it's a bit boring to play :-p

The physical design of human beings means we have various needs - not all of them are the obvious things such as food and drink. It is well documented that children who don't have a lot of love given to them at a young age end up with social difficulties, and sometimes even mental problems. Humans are designed to stick to a mate for life - the bible itself says "a man must leave his parents and take a wife, and the two become one". It's a basic need that is programmed into us, just as food and drink are. Of course, it's not a life-or-death thing, but love is deeper than just attraction and if you speak to people who have been married for life, they rarely say they regret it.

This'll be hot. If it doesnt come out here I'll cry into my pillow. As I kill myself with it.
