Did it smell like a burny almost rubbish type smell? Was the smoke a clear type smoke? If yes to both then it is possible that you just burnt your clutch a little bit - which wont mean there is anything wrong as long as the clutch is still working. I did it myself last year.

Thanks for the advice guys, i have been at work all day so it has had a day of rest, i have not turned it on to check yet... My tv is about five years old now, first time i haved a noticed a problem like this, and i'm sure i have left the same image on the screen for a lot longer than 10 minutes in the past!

Erm, maybe 10 minutes max? Not 100%, I pressed it just while I was typing something on facebook. It's still on screen now, 45 minutes later!

Sooo basically to my horror it looks like an image has burnt itself on to my lcd 27" Samsung TV... It seems to look more obvious depending on the colours on screen. It is a purple rectangle with the wording 'xbox dashboard' and can just make out 'xbox guide' above it. I tried taking a picture, if you look it is definatly there, i just couldn't seem to take a picture with the more obvious one. Normal TV: Fable 3 xbox 360 The Culprit: So basically have i fucked up my tv forever now? Will it go? Is there anything i can do to make it go? Any help would be welcome.

Not sure if they are still having problems since the whole hacking saga. As when i try and go on their website to change something i keep getting the maintaince screen. Not that it helps you much.

Wasn't most of that revealed at E3? (apart from maybe the discoverable feature) To be honest the E3 video shown it in better detail if i remember correctly, as to how it looked browsing through the menu's etc. Edit: Or maybe not. Just watched a bit of the E3 vid and that was just really showing off the kinect features for it but did mention some of the other stuff. This was what i was thinking :

^ I didn't really know much about Captain America before watching this film but i love how they portrayed him and really shown that it is HIM as a person and his mind which makes him 'Captain America', he has just had everything boosted up to match so he can stand his own in battle. Basically i felt the film really portrayed that well as like i said i didn't know much about him and that is the impression i got walking away from the film!

I have just re-read my few previous posts and i have had a slightly change in weight. Put on few pounds and currently weighed 16.10 Stone on Sunday. I am not surprised though, on friday i did have a mcdonolds breakfast followed by a take-a-way for tea (chees burger, pizza, chips, donna meat! I shall be trying to get back on my diet this week. I did have a look at my BMI before though and it says it is now 29.7!!!!! Which means i am out of the obese category and into overweight! Only just though as 30 is Obese but still, made me feel good!
